据最新消息 高考中会出现一些新面孔，比如选词填空，填空式阅读，听力填空，等等。这些新题型有着共同的特点：都是主观题。主观题比例的增加表明 高考英语的区分度和信度会比以往会有进一步增强。也就是说，这预示着高考英语要走出单项选择一统天下的局面从而更真实的反映考生的英语水平。

什么是选题填空题？

选词填空就是给考生一篇短文，从中挖出十个词，形成十处空。在短文上方有一个方框，方框中有至少有十个词。要求考生根据文章意思，把方块中适当的词填入空白。和完型填空一样选词填空的理论依据是格式塔心理学(Gelstalt psychology) 又称补全心理，即当人们看到一幅残缺画面时，会下意识地在心目中将画面中的缺损部分补齐，“视”其为一幅完整的画面。这种题型类似于过去的完形填空，两者的异同如下：

相同点：都要求考生对文章内容有整体上的把握依靠上下文含义和逻辑做题

不同点：

1) 完形填空是四个词中选一个，主要考察词语之间的辨析。而方块选词填空是从一些词当中，可能是十二个中选取十个，分别填入空白，主要考察对单个词在不同语境中含义的掌握。

技巧1：拿捏词义的轻重

近义词虽然表达的意思是相近的，但在表现事物的某种特征或程度上，往往有轻重之别。我们辨析时就要注意区别。 例如：“损坏”“毁坏”“破坏”其表现的程度就层层升级，依次加重。再如：“陌生”与“生疏”，两个词都有“不熟悉”的意思。但“陌生”表示对一个人或事物因初次接触而不熟悉；“生疏”则可表示对一个人或事物以前熟悉或曾经有过接触，因相隔时间长变得不熟悉了，或者因接触时间不长次数不多所以不熟悉。 技巧2：限定词义的范围 有些近义词虽指同一事物，但所指范围却有大有小，这种分别也是辨析近义词的一个标准。 例如：“边疆”“边境”“边界”范围是越来越小。“边疆”指远离中心的地方，靠近国界的领土，范围大，同时这个概念比较抽象；“边境”指靠近国界的地方，范围较小，同时这个概念比较具体。“边界”仅指一条界限，范围最小。再如：“年纪”与“年龄”。“年纪”专指人的年龄，词义范围小，“年龄”指人或动物植物已生存的年数，词义范围大。如：（1）校园里的两棵银杏树，看上去它们的年龄足有千年。（2）你这把年纪还带头干活，我们这些年青人哪敢怠慢？这里的例（1）的“年龄”就不能换成“年纪”

中考英语完形填空题型特点：

完形填空是一种测试考生综合运用英语语言知识能力的一种题型，它集阅读理解能力与语言应用能力考查于一体，考查考生在阅读理解基础上，在一定语言情景下灵活运用词汇的能力。它首先要求考生具备较强的阅读能力，具备能根据短文所给线索，捕捉相关信息，进行分析判断、逻辑推理的能力，它还要求考生能熟练运用所学词汇、语法、习惯用语及交际用语等语言知识进行填词，考查了使用语言的准确性。由于完形填空属于有障碍性的阅读，考生对阅读这些含有空缺单词的短文没有把握、困难较大，所以往往望题生畏。因而完形填空历来是中考中考生失分率较高的题型。新课标教材使用之后，完形填空试题的难度逐渐增大。以往完形填空试题的考点主要集中在词汇、语法、句法上，对语篇背景考虑不多，近年来考查的重点已由在语篇中考查语法逐渐转向对语篇的整体理解。比如多数试题所设选项如单从语法角度来判定都是正确的，但一旦联系语篇内容，则只有一个正确答案。由于难度的提高，使完形填空成为考生最棘手题型之一，感到既容易丢分又难于进行复习。要完成好完形填空试题，考生除必须掌握一定的语法、词汇知识外，还有赖于提高阅读

大学英语四级选词填空技巧

第一步：通读全文read through (1分钟)

通读全文是用较快速度，一行一行地读，目的是把握至少90% 的文章内容。

要先了解文章大意，带着文章脉络去找选项。所以，务必先沉着地把文章读一遍，尤其注意gap 前后的位置，为寻找正确选项打下铺垫。

提醒：就算是通读，也别拿来就把头埋进去傻读。先居高临下，花5秒钟把短文各个自然段的段首扫一遍。第一句是不允许出题的，它对全文起概括、提示的作用。所以，一定要认真看懂第一句。 第二步：整理选项classify the options (1分钟)

这一步，公认的做法是先标出15个选项的词性(parts of speech)，名词前写n, 动词前写v等等。目前四级考试只考实词（notional words）中的四种：名词n做主语和宾语, 动词v做谓语，形容词adj做定语，副词adv做状语。不考代词pron和数词num；也不考虚词form words（冠词art, 介词prep, 连词conj, 感叹词interj）动词归类要细分为v，ved, ving。因为一个空可以填动词，但填原形还是过去式还是ing形式要自己根据语法判断。

对于四级的一般文章，选项有如下特点：15个单词中3个名词正确
