我和哥哥第一次见到苹果，眼巴巴地看着那鲜红的颜色，闻着那诱人的香气，咽着口水。 吃罢早饭，姑父走了。太婆把我和哥哥喊到跟前，拿起两个大苹果，塞到我和哥哥手里。她乐呵呵地对我们说：“我早就看到你们俩馋猴儿似的盯着苹果，快到一边吃去吧，别让你们妈妈看见了。”

我们拿着苹果，来到院子外的一堵矮墙边。哥哥看着苹果，眼睛乐成了两个弯弯的小月牙。我呢，不时地把苹果凑近鼻子，一边闻，一边连声说：“好香，好香。哥哥说：“咱们吃吧。”我说：“咱们吃吧。”不知说了多少遍“咱们吃吧”，可谁也没舍得在苹果上咬一口。 哥哥说：“咱们别吃，等晚上爸爸回来，你的和妈妈分着吃，我的和爸爸分着吃。” 我咽了咽口水，连声说：“好好好。”

我和哥哥正高兴地商量着，不知什么时候，妈妈已经站在我们身后。妈妈笑盈盈地看着我们，问道：“这苹果是你们姑父给谁带来的呀？” 我们回答：“是给太婆带来的。”
