明喻是将具有共性的不同事物作对比.这种共性存在于人们的心里,而不是事物的自然属性。或者说是以两种具有相同特征的事物和现象进行对比，表明本体和喻体之间的相似关系，两者都在对比中出现。标志词常用like, as, seem, as if, as though, similar to, such as等. It is a figure of speech which makes a comparison between two unlike elements having at least one quality or characteristic in common. To make the comparison, words like as, as...as, as if and like are used to transfer the quality we associate with one to the other.

例如:

1>.He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

［摘要］修辞就是在运用语言的时候，根据特定的目的精心选择语言的过程，力求把话语和文章说得更正确、更明白、更生动、更精彩。任何语言都有修辞，英语当然不能例外。本文现介绍了一些英语中常见的修辞现象，如比喻(thefiguresofspeech)、拟人（personi-fication）、夸张（hyperbole）等等。［关键词］语言修辞修辞手法

说话是一种艺术，具有自身的规律。所谓“修辞”，就是指这种有关提高语言表达效果的语言运用的艺术及其规律。或者说，修辞是调整文章的表里关系，使思想感情的表现、客观事物和情况的反映恰如其分。英语语言中有很多修辞现象，本文从英汉意象上的修辞手法，英汉语义上的修辞手法和英汉词句结构上的修辞手法三方面来介绍一些常见的修辞手法。

一、英汉意象上的修辞手法

英汉意象上的修辞手法包括比喻(thefiguresofspeech)、借代（syn-ecdoche）和拟人（personification）。1.比喻(thefiguresofspeech)比喻是语言艺术的升华，是语言的信息功能和美学功能的有机结合。它可以使文字生动活泼、形象鲜明，增强表现力和感染力。英语中常见的比喻有两类：明喻

1．比喻： 1、定义

又叫打比方。即两种不同程度的事物，彼此有相似点，使用一事物来比方另一事物的修辞方法。 2、结构

比喻一般由三个部分组成，即本体（被比喻的事物或情景）、喻体和比喻词（比喻关系的标志性词语）。 3、种类

根据比喻结构的三个部分的异同和隐现特征，可分为四种。

(1)明喻。本体、喻体都出现，中间用比喻词“像、似、仿佛、犹如、宛如、像??一样、仿佛??

似的”等连接。常见形式是“甲像乙。 例如：叶子出水很高，像婷婷舞女的裙。

（2）暗喻。本体喻体都出现，中间用比喻词”是、成了、变成“等连接。典型形式是：甲是乙。

例如：广场上是雪白的花圈的海洋，纪念碑已堆成雪白的山冈。 此外，暗喻还有一些变体需注意的是：

①修饰式暗喻：本体与喻体之间以修饰与被修、饰限制与被限制的形式来实现比喻关系。

例如：这是花的海洋。

②同位式暗喻：本体与喻体之间以同位复指形式表现比喻关系。 例如：王老八你不要灌汤

③注释式暗喻：本体与喻体以注释说明的形式表现比喻关系，常用破折号连接。

例如：五点钟，上工的汽笛响了，红砖“罐头”的盖子—那扇

《复习修辞手法》教学设计

教学目的：

1、让学生熟知常用的修辞手法有哪些。 2、能够正确判断句子所运用的修辞手法。

3、能够把普通句子转换成含某一修辞手法的句子。 教学重点：
