中国的民族戏曲历史悠久，种类繁多，有据可考的就有275个剧种。藏戏，是藏族地区普遍流行、在祖国百花艺苑中一个独具特色的剧种。藏戏艺术有600多年的历史，比誉为国粹的京剧还早400多年，被称为藏文化的“活化石”。
