高职生英语词汇学习策略研究

词汇学习，贯穿于英语学习的始终，是英语学习的重要环节。词汇量的大小直接影响着听、说、读、写、译等各项技能的发展。词汇的掌握和应用是语言学习者提高自身英语语言技能的必备条件。高职生对词汇学习的重要性有足够的认识，但是他们缺乏主动学习的精神，对记忆策略、词汇学习策略知之甚少。所以，很多高职生花了大量的时间背单词，但到头来词汇没有理解，词汇量也没有增加。笔者认为，需要让学生了解一些学习策略，以便更好地进行词汇学习。因此，笔者就高职生的英语词汇学习策略作一简单的分析。 一、在上下文中猜测生词策略

认知策略中，在上下文中背单词被证明是最为有效的策略。理解了的内容，就容易记住，理解得越深刻，记忆得越牢固。Gairns ( 1986)和Devine ( 1987)等指出，在阅读中遇到生词，不要停下来查阅词典或问别人，这样会降低阅读的速度，影响阅读的质量。如果这个词在文章中是关键词，学习者应该尽量利用上下文提供的各种线索来猜测它的意思。学习者可以通过分析该词的词性、词
