本考试内容包括五个部分：分别是阅读理解、词语用法与语法结构、挑错、完形填空和英汉互译。全部题目按顺序统一编号，共85题。

第一部分：阅读理解（Part I Reading Comprehension），共15题，考试时间40分钟。30分

要求考生阅读三篇短文，总阅读量不超过900个词。每篇文章后有五个问题，考生应根据文章内容从每题四个选择项中选出一个最佳答案。

一、什么是学士学位授权评估？

答：学位是标志被授予者的受教育程度和学术水平达到规定标准的学术称号。我国学位分学士、硕士、博士三级。学士学位，由国务院授权高等学校授予，高等学校本科毕业生，成绩优良，达到规定的学术水平者，授予学士学位。

学士学位授权是一所合格的本科院校的基本权利，也是本科专业的必备条件，分为“新增学士学位授予单位评估”和“新增学士学位授权专业评估”两个层次。如果被评专业通过评估，就表明该专业的本科教学质量达到了相应条件；如果学校被评专业全部通过评估，就表明学校是一所合格的本科院校，具有对所评本科专业授予学士学位的权利。

二、学士学位授权评估与本科教学工作合格评估是什么关系？

答：学士学位授权评估是对新建本科院校基本办学条件和管理水平的评估。本科教学工作合格评估是国家教育部对具有一定办学历史的本科院校办学水平实施的全方位评价。学士学位授权评估在有首届本科毕业生的毕业学期进行，由省学位办公室或省教育主管部门负责组织实施。我院接受评估的时间预计在2011年4月或5月。新办本科院校首先必须获得学士学位授予权，且必须具有三届以上本科毕业生才有资格接受本科教学工作合格
