一、考查形式

英语完形填空题主要考查学生阅读理解能力、逻辑思维能力和对具体语境的把握能力。从近两年的考题看，此题共10题20分。短文长度为2007年164个词，2008年为2006个词。短文的空位间隔最小为4个单词，最大为41个单词，除第一句不设空外，其余均可留空。

二、考查内容

“完形填空”要求考生阅读一篇短文，然后完成10个填空，考点明确，主要考查： 词语在特定语境中的用法；篇章结构的衔接；篇章意义的连贯。
