一．说教材

1．本课的地位和作用

本课是新目标英语七年级上册第8单元第一课时，教材以 when is your birthday? 为中心话题。Section A 是本单元的重点部分，也是核心教学。主要学习日期的表达。它上承Unit7 的数字教学，下接SectionB与以后有关日期的英语教学。，因此本部分是前后知识的载体，在本单元以及今

后的英语学习中都占重要的地位。

2．教学目标

《课程标准》中说：英语教学的目的是培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力，

为用而学，在用中学，学了就用。因此我把本课的教学目标定为以下几个方

面：

（1）知识目标

①词汇掌握 1－12月份的表达序数词1－31

◆设计思想和依据

充分理解―新课标‖倡导的“以学生为行为主体的新型课堂”教育理念，我在本节课中力求为学生构建一个自主、体验、探究、合作、交往的学习平台。经过对授课班级学生的认知水平和性格特征的分析，我采用以合作小组为课堂活动的基本单位，自始至终采用任务型教学模式，围绕着学习“What’s this in English?” 某物用英语怎么说这个特定话题，设计出可操作性强的活动。课堂中运用多媒体，提供了大量与同学们日常生活用品相关的图片，并举行猜单词竞赛，不但激发了学生的学习冲动和参与热情，更是提供给学生亲身体验的机会。学习上的快乐与成功，引发了他们对学习英语的浓浓兴趣。课堂活动和任务设计力求满足不同层次的学生以不同方式参与课堂的需求，按照过程教学法理论：前一个任务为后一个做铺垫，一步一步引导学生完成终极任务，水到渠成。在任务的完成过程中，我注重形成性评价。整个教学过程力求让不同层次的学生充分参与，并积极合作。在合作中学习，在竞赛中体验成功的快乐，并与合作伙伴一同完成任务，课堂活动在活泼、 有趣 、开放有序、 有效的氛围中进行，学生在教师的指导下活跃思维 、拓展视野 、展现个性
