★所谓新概念武器是指与传统武器相比，在基本原理、杀伤破坏机理和作战方式上都有本质区别，尚处于研制或探索之中一类新型武器。

从这个定义上大家可以看出，我们所说的新概念武器与其它武器本质的区别，主要在四个方面。★一是它的基本原理不同，★二是它的杀伤机理不同，★三它的作战方式不同，★四是使用时间不同。

这四个方面，实质上也就是新概念武器的特征

★其一、新概念武器具有创新的工作原理。（从工作原理来讲）

大家知道，传统武器，其基本工作原理，通常是点火――发射――然后依靠火药推力在空中飞行，最后击中目标爆炸。不管是枪、炮、导弹这些常规武器，包括核武器基本上都是这原理。

按照这种原理，目前的武器装备的战术技术性能基本上达到极限，但是人们还是感觉不解渴。比如飞机飞行速度已达到超音速，人们感到还是太慢，核弹的威力尽管可以炸毁一座城市，但是人们感到还是威力太小，另外核武器尽管比较管用但却不能轻易使用，常
