(一)了解宾语从句的定义和结构 (二)掌握宾语从句的引导词及其用法

(三)注意宾语从句中时态,语序,标点符号,简化及否定转移的问题 二、教学重点:

1. 在复合句中起宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句. 2. 宾语从句的引导词

A 由that 引导的宾语从句,连词that只起连接作用,在从句中不做句子的成分,也无词汇意义,通常可省略

例:We know (that ) we should study hard. 注意事项:在以下情况中that不能省略

1)当句中的动词后接两个或两个以上由that引导的宾语从句时,第一个that可省,但后面的that不可省。

例句:He said (that) you were too young to understand the matter and that he was asked not to tell you.

2)当that从句是双宾语中的直接宾语时,that一般不可省略。 例句:I can’t tell him that his mother died.

宾语从句根据其引导词的不同可分为三种类型:

1. 由连词that引导的宾语从句,如:He said (that) it was Sunday yesterday.

2. 由连词if/whether引导的宾语从句,如:Could you tell me if /whether there will be a test next week? 3. 由 which, when等连接代词或连接副词引导的宾语从句,如:I don’t know how I can get there. 二、 理顺转换步骤

把两个单句组成含有宾语从句的复合句时,合并变化应遵循以下四大要素: 1. 确定引导词(连接词)

根据从句的句子类型选择正确的引导词。若从句为陈述句,则引导词为that(that在口语中常省略);若从句是一般疑问句、选择疑问句或反意疑问句,则引导词为if或whether;若从句是特殊疑问句,则引导词由疑问词转化而来的疑问代词/副词。 2. 调整语序

宾语从句永远是陈述句语序。若原句是疑问句式,则应将它调整为陈述句语序。 (追踪练习)
