大学英语四六级考试每年开考两次，即上半年一次，下半年一次。2016年上半年报名时间预计为2月底至3月底，2016年下半年报名时间预计为8月底至9月底。

四级考试是上午9:10--11:25，六级考试是下午15:10--17:25。但实际上，我们考生一般在考前开始半个小时，也就是8：40和14:40。这半个小时是试音以及阅读考场规则、分发试卷的时间。考生们在试音的二十分钟其实无需仔细听其中的内容。因为如果仔细听，用力想很容易发现自己的不足，从而扰乱你的考试心情，影响考试状态。正确做法应该是放松。觉得困的可以趴在桌子上闭会眼睛，不困的可以随便看看你的考试用具，笔啊、橡皮啊、水啊、纸巾啊什么的。总之放松心情。
