畸形的珍珠——巴洛克

巴洛克源于葡萄牙语，意为畸形的珍珠。它是崇尚古典美术的学者，对于不遵守古典美术规则的艺术风格的一种贬称。实际上，力求突破既有规则的巴洛克风格美术，是为了适应当时天主教会和宫廷贵族审美趣味的需要，在传统美术基础上的变革、创新。它的发源地是17世纪初的意大利，后传播到佛兰德斯(今比利时)、西班牙等国。它表现在建筑、雕刻、绘画等方面。最主要的代表人物是意大利的贝尔尼尼(1598-1680年)、佛兰德斯的鲁本斯(1577-1640年)、西班牙委拉斯开兹。
