北京地质概况

北京是中华人民共和国的首都，是全国政治、文化中心。北京全市面积16807.8平方千米，人口将达2000万。拥有众多名胜古迹和人文景观，是全球拥有世界文化遗产最多的城市。北京地区地处东经115度25分—117度30分、北纬39度28分—41度05分，具有明显的温带季风气候特征，夏季炎热多雨，冬季寒冷干燥。

北京位于华北平原的西北边缘，东南局部地区与天津市接壤，其它均与河北省毗邻。西北高、东南低，西北丛山峻岭连绵起伏，北京西部山地总称西山，属太行山余脉，由一系列北东走向大致平行排列的山脉组成。北部山地总称军都山，属燕山山脉，自南向北呈阶梯状增高。东南是一块缓缓向渤海倾斜的平原—北京平原。北京平原面积约6800平方千米，占全市面积的38%，地貌平坦广阔，显示出冲积、洪积平原的基本特征。北京城坐落在北京平原的西南。

北京地区各年代地层分布如下：

　　DB11/T 334《公共场所双语标识英文译法》标准分为以下几个部分：
　　

2022年北京冬季奥运会（英语：XXIV Winter Olympic Games）第24届冬季奥林匹克运动会，将在2022年2月4日至2022年2月20日在中华人民共和国北京市和张家口市联合举行。这是中国历史上第一次举办冬季奥运会，北京、张家口同为主办城市，也是中国继北京奥运会、南京青奥会后，中国第三次举办的奥运赛事。

北京冬奥会共设15个分项，109个小项。北京将承办所有冰上项目，延庆和张家口将承办所有的雪上项目。新增7个比赛小项（女子单人雪车、短道速滑混合团体接力、跳台滑雪混合团体、男子自由式滑雪大跳台、女子自由式滑雪大跳台、自由式滑雪空中技巧混合团体和单板滑雪障碍追逐混合团体），届时总共将产生109枚金牌。
