二、主语从句

(一)定义:用作主语的从句叫做主语从句。

(二)引导主语从句的关联词有三类: (1)从属连词that、whether。如:

宾语从句根据其引导词的不同可分为三种类型:

1. 由连词that引导的宾语从句,如:He said (that) it was Sunday yesterday.

一、宾语从句的定义

宾语是句子的重要成分,可由单词、短语或句子充当。当一个句子充当宾语时,我们把这个句子称为宾语从句。宾语从句在复合句子中做及物动词的宾语,也可做介词和某些形容词的宾语。

二、宾语从句的表现形式 (一)引导词

1. 当由陈述句充当宾语从句时,引导词用that。that无词义,在口语或非正式文体中常省略。例如:

He says. He is a worker. He says (that) he is a worker. 他说他是工人。

2. 当由一般疑问句充当宾语从句时,引导词用if或whether,都表示“是否”的意思。例如:

I don’t know. Will he come the day after tomorrow?
