转折连词 争奈 及相关转折连词的形成与发展

[摘 要] 奈 类转折连词是近代汉语时期出现频率较多的一类词。本文在详细考察语料的基础上,从词汇化角度对

汉语转折类连词早在上古时期已见使

用,如 而 、 然 等,中古后, 但 、 但是 、 只 、 只是 、 不过 等连词相继出现。转折类连词除上述所说之外,近代汉语时期, 奈 类连词也很常见(这类连词数目较多,有 争奈 、 怎奈 、 无奈 、 奈 、 只奈 等,由于这类连词通常有词素 奈 参与构成,为便于表述,权且统称为 奈 类连词)。

从表达的语用效果上看,这类连词往往强调因某种原因的存在,导致一件事情不能实现,如下文例(1),强调由于 受了西
