一、课程性质和任务

本课程是高等职业技术院校海洋船舶驾驶专业的一门主干专业课程。它的任务是：训练学生在船值班工作的英语听说能力，为上船工作进行业务交流打下良好的语言基础。

二、课程教学目标

本课程的教学目标是：使学生具备一定的听力能力和较流利的值班驾驶员会话能力，达到《1978／95公约》和中华人民共和国海事局所规定的船舶操作级驾驶员的适任标准。

（一）知识教学目标

通过听和说获得知识，信息和语言，经过思维，在原有知识及语言的基础上对所获得的内容和语言加工和重组，开发学生的语言能力和运用英语进行交际的能力。 （二）能力培养目标

①能用英语进行日常生活交流。 ②能听懂船舶口令并准确地复诵、报告。 ③能熟练掌握IMO标准航海通信用语。 ④能较流利地进行与专业有关的业务会话。

合作原则对航海英语听力与会话课堂的借鉴作用
