定义

过去完成时(past perfect tense)：表示过去某一时间或动作以前已经发生或完成了的动作。它表示动作发生的时间是“过去的过去”

①表示发生在过去的动作对过去的某一点造成的某种影响或结果，用来指定在另一个过去行动之前就已经完成了的一个事件。

②过去某动作一直持续到现 在将来可能还要延续下去。句中的动作发生在过去之前（过去的过去），即过去完成时动作发生在过去的过去。

主语+have+过去分词vpp.(done) ①肯定句：主语+had+过去分词+其他. ②否定句：主语+had+not+过去分词+其他. ③一般疑问句：Had+主语+过去分词+其他? 肯定

一般过去时与过去进行时的用法比较

1.一般过去时表示在过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态，往往表示动作已完成；而过去进行时则表示过去某个时间正在进行的动作，表示动作的未过错成性。试比较：

I read a book that evening.

那天晚上我读了一本书。（指读完了整本书）

I was reading a book that evening.那天晚上我在读一本书。（指读了书的一部分）

Mary wrote a letter to her friend last night. 玛丽昨晚给她的朋友写了封信。（信写完了）

Mary was writing a letter to her friend last night. 玛丽昨晚在给她的朋友写信。（信不一定写完）

2.过去进行时和一般过去时都可以表示过去某段时间内发生的动作或情况，但过去进行时通常用来说明短暂的动作和状态，侧重于动作持续时间的长度；而一般过去时则只说明过去发生了某事的事实。如：

I often went swimming while I was living in Qingdao. 我在青岛住的时候经常去游泳。

过去完成时

过去完成时(past perfect)表示发生在过去的两个动作在前的那一个，它表示句子中描述的动作发生在―过去的过去‖。

主语+had+过去分词vpp.(done)

① 肯定句：主语+had+过去分词.

② 否定句：主语+had+not+过去分词.

③ 一般疑问句：Had+主语+过去分词?

肯定回答：Yes,主语+had.

否定回答：No,主语+had not .

④ 特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词或词组+一般疑问句（Had+主语+过去分词）？ ⑤被动语态：主语+had（hadn't)+been+过去分词

（1）表示在过去某一时刻或动作以前完成了的动作，也可以说过去的时间关于过去的动作。即―过去的过去‖。可以用by, before等介词短语或一个时间状语从句来表示，也可以用一个表示过去的动作来表示，还可能通过上下文来表示。与过去完成时常用的
