Gulliver’s Travel tells a story of Captain Gulliver’s unique experience. Gulliver has a strong desire of traveling around the world since he grew up. However, when he became a captain, he travels not between different countries but between strange places we never imagine.

I read Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift this summer holiday. There are 4 parts in the book: A voyage to Lilliput, A voyage to Brobdingnag, A Voyage to Laputa, Balnibarbi, Luggnagg, Glubbdubdrib, and Japan, andA Voyage to the Country of the Houyhnhnms. It’s about Lemuel Gulliver the surgeon’s magical travels. All of

them are factious but it does satirize the scientists, political parties and the bad habits of people.

The most interesting part I think is the story about the institute in Luggnagg where

I still remember the summer vocation in 2008, my parents went to Phoenix city which is in Hunan province by motorcycle. The summer in Hunan was so hot that I felt that the sun was burning my skin when exposed to the sunshine on the way to our destination. However, the situation in Phoenix city was totally different. As soon as we arrived the hotel, where was surrounded by trees, a cold breeze suddenly blew in and right away I felt better a lot.

Our travel agency is making a Chinese cultural activity for 20 foreigners. Book Report of Gulliver's Travels

One of the most interesting questions about Gullivers Travels is whether the Houyhnhnms represent an ideal of rationality or whether on the other hand they are the butt of Swift's satire. In other words, in Book IV, is Swift poking fun at the talking horses or does he intend for us to take them seriously as the proper way to act? If we look closely at the way that the Houyhnhnms act, we can see that in fact Swift does not take them seriously: he uses them to show the dangers of pride.
