PREPARATION
Getting to know us is essential. Our recruitment process is built upon our belief that a candidate’s understanding of the Goldman Sachs culture is as important as the skills and talent she or he can bring to the firm. INTERVIEWS
Our interview approach allows us to introduce you to many of the professionals with whom you may eventually work, and it enables you to make an informed decision about a career at Goldman Sachs. Your first interview with us will primarily focus on your past experiences and
accomplishments and whether or not you are a fit with the firm. Second round and any
subsequent interviews will be more technical in nature and we will continue to assess your compatibility with the firm.

We provide our new analysts with the tools necessary for professional growth and career
advancement. As a new analyst, you will learn a great deal about the firm and how we do
business. You will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to support our businesses, and you will have unlimited access to the training and guidance to help you prepare for the next level.

Throughout the analyst years we provide you with ongoing developmental assignments and exposure to multiple disciplines that will supplement your day-to-day responsibilities. Goldman Sachs has a flat organizational structure, so it’s difficult to identify a typical career path. The
breadth and depth of our firm provide you with a host of opportunities beyond the analyst position. Our formal mobility process encourages you to explore these opportunities both within and outside of your division and office location.
TRAINING
We created Goldman Sachs University to help you at each stage of your career. Upon joining the firm you will receive formal training followed by division-specific or department-specific training. You will also receive ongoing training, based on your specific skill needs and interests, to bolster your professional development through learning in the workplace. We develop programs in a
variety of innovative and challenging formats to guide you through everything from leading a client presentation for the first time to taking on new management responsibilities.
FEEDBACK
Analysts are formally evaluated as part of the firm's annual Performance Review Process, which includes a self assessment as well as input from peers, managers and internal business partners. You will also participate in the Personal Development Planning process. Based on formal and

【2】NEW ASSOCIATE PROGRAM
As a new associate, you will be an integral part of our business. You will develop product-specific and function-specific skills and interact closely with senior professionals and clients.
WHO CAN APPLY
This program is open to final year students working toward an advanced degree such as an MBA, JD, MD, or LLM. Our New Associates typically have two to five years of work experience. While your discipline or major are not important, we do expect a level of knowledge of the industry and the products and services we offer.

All our interns take part in a one-day firmwide orientation where you’ll learn about our culture, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of Goldman Sachs. You will also receive division-specific training designed to help you succeed in your division. Successful
Summer Associates may be invited back to join our New Associate program in a full time position.
