句型What day ...?常用来询问星期几或节日。如:

2. --What class are they having?他们在上什么课?

-They are having a music class.他们在上音乐课。

(1)此处what class是用来询问“什么课程”，class，与lesson 同义。如: Morning classes/lessons begin at eight a'cloek.上午的课八点开始。

-What class are you in?你在哪个班? -I'm in class Seven.我在七班。

②class意为“一个班级的全体学生”。此时是集体名词。如:

-I don’t like it, because it’s a little difficult.我不喜欢它。它有点儿难。

(1) What do you think of...?你认为...怎么样？表示主语对某人或某事的看法，也可表达为How do you like...?此句还有询问对某物喜欢的程度之意。

如：What do you think of the book? It’s interesting.

你认为这本书怎么样？它很有趣。

（2）a little 稍微，有点儿后接形容词或副词。

如：The pants are a little long.这条裤子有点儿长。

He comes to school a little early.他到校有点儿早。

此外a little 还可以修饰不可数名词。如：a little water ,a little English等。

2. Which subject do you like best?I like history best.你最喜欢哪一科？

（1）which 表示“哪一个，哪一些”后面可接单数名词也可接复数名词。

（2）like...best最喜欢...I like math best.=My favoritesubject is math.

3.learn about the past 了解过去（历史）

（1）learn“学习，学会”

如：He is learning to dance.他正在学习跳舞。

（2）learn about“得知，获悉；了解”

I want to learn about the town’s history.我想了解该镇的历史。

4.Work on math problems解数学题

Work on 意为“从事...致力于...”on作介词时含义较多，在句中与work搭配时可以有多种译法。试比较（1）.My father works on a farm.我的父亲在农场工作。

（2）He is working on computers.他正在用电脑工作。

（3）He is working on a new novle.他正在写一部新小说。
