Elephants are the biggest animals on land. They are very strong. An elephant has two big ears, a long nose and a pair of long tusks. Elephants are friendly animals. They live in Asia. But Asian elephants and African elephants are different. African elephants are larger than Asian elephants. Asian elephants can be more than three metres tall and weigh over five tons. There are not many Asian elephants in China now. Only about three hundred Asian elephants live in Yunnan. So we’d better protect the elephants. Never kill an elephant.
