一．pinyin（拼音）& Syllable（音节）

句子的每个单词的每个音节都要发出来，这样句子流畅性会很好，外国人也会听得懂。

只要把每个单词的每个音节发准确，先慢慢的来，练准确。练熟了提速，最后把正确的声调加进去，英文发音会越来越像地道的美国人。

三． WORD STRESS

1. Compound nouns: stress the first word and pronounce two words as one

2. Proper stress with Adjectives “-Adj.+ Noun.”: stress the noun,.(stress the

5. In a sentence, what words should you stress?

1) Content words: Do you want salt and pepper?

2) Nouns, not pronouns: He told John, VS He told him.

3) Reducing stress on “function words”:

Pronouns: he, she, you, mine, himself, etc

Prepositions: to, in, for, at, by, on, etc

Conjunctions：and,but,or,nor,so,yet

Auxiliary verbs: am, is, do, been, have, can, should, etc
