Thirdly, in the past, the roads were narrow in my hometown. There were not railways through it. So few people know my hometown. But now government takes measures to built wide ring roads in my hometown. It’s easy to come to my hometown. Many tourists come to my hometown for their holiday. English is very important in our lives. We should do our best to learn English well. Maybe you will ask how to learn English well. I have some good methods that fit me best. Let me tell you.

To learn English , I preview the day’s lesson before class and try to find the main ideas to reply to the

teacher’s questions. In class , I make notes carefully . I often read a passage and retell it myself. Sometimes I learn English grammar and it helps me a lot. When I can’t remember new words , I always write them down in a notebook and take it with me .After class, I always review lessons and sing some chants. Reading a good English newspaper is helpful. We should speak English with our teachers ,our classmates and even with foreigners. We should insist on speaking English every day. In these ways, I have improved my English skills. How to Be a Greener Person

It’s our duty to protect the environment around us. The three Rs—reduce, reuse and recycle—are important. I think we’d better not buy bottles or boxes which people can only use once. We should turn off the lights when we are not using them. We can give old clothes to others to reuse them. When we go shopping, we’d better take a cloth bag rather than use plastic bags. We shouldn’t throw things away if they can be reused, repaired or recycled. It’s important for us to protect animals and plants. We are supposed to prevent the factory from pouring waste water into rivers, lakes and so on. If everyone is doing that, our world will become more and more beautiful.

Computers

Our group think people’s life is becoming more and more convenient because of the Internet. We can use it to search for kinds of information , shop online without going out. We can also enjoy ourselves on the internet, such as listen to music , watch films. We can even learn English on the internet.

But everyting has its two sides. Some students stay up too late because of the Internet. They spend so much time playing computers that they have no enough time to study and exercise. Besides, some information is not true and some is harmful to students.

In my opinion, computers can help us much at study and life, but it must be used properly.
