一、被动语态的概念

英语动词有两种语态:主动语态和被动语态。主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者,被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者。本单元主要介绍的是一般现在时的被动语态。

二、一般现在时被动语态的基本结构

1.肯定句式:主语+is /am /are+及物动词(或不及物动词+介词)的过去分词+(by). You are waited for by me every day.你每天要人等。

2.否定句式:主语+is/am/are+not+及物动词(或不及物动词+介词)的过去分词+(by). The room isn’t cleaned by my sister.我姐姐不打扫那个房间。

3.一般疑问句式:Is/Am/Are+主语+及物动词(或不及物动词+介词)的过去分词+(by)?—Are your clothes washed by yourself? 你的衣服是你自己洗吗?

—No,I’m not.不,不是。

4.特殊疑问句式:(1)疑问副词或代词(不作主语)+is/am/are+主语+及物动词(或不及物动词+介词)的过去分词+(by)?

What is the ring made of? 戒指是用什么制作的?

(2)疑问代词(作主语)+is/am/are+及物动词(或不及物动词)的过去分词+(by)?Which kind of cars is made in Shanghai?哪种车是上海制造的?

三、主动语态变为被动语态的方法

1.主动语态的宾语变为被动语态的主语;

2.主动语态的谓语动词变为“be+及物动词的过去分词”形式;

3.主动语态的主语变为by引导的短语放在主谓结构之后,在意思明确的时候可以省略。Exercise
