The first group is artists who would like to seek inspiration for their works. To take the story of Tao Yuanming as an example, he looked forward to living alone so that nobody else could interfere with his creativity and he could experience anything in the nature with the whole body and soul. He thought being alone might be a key to his success.

The other group is people being disappointed with life. To cite the story of a woman as an example in support of

this purpose, she was hurt by her former lover, and cheated seriously by someone in her community. Being hopeless about the society, she was gratified to learn that living alone could calm herself down and provide her with a comfortable place for her heart.

Thus, all the people have rights to choose their own way of life which does no harm to others. The only thing we can conduct is to understand and respect their choice.
