born in the state of South Carolina in the United States. When he was a child, his family moved, and he grew up in a poor area in Brooklyn, New York.

As a teenager, Rock left high school and started telling jokes in comedy(喜剧) clubs in New York City. Even at age 18, Chirs Rock was very funny. He told jokes about his family (his parents were very strict), and about growing up in Brooklyn

A road is just like a bridge between two places. The Silk Road has been a bridge between East and West. But the Silk Road is not a single route(路线)! It is a series of trade and cultural transmission(传送) routes. From the time Zhang Qian opened up the world——famous Silk Road during the Han Dynasty, (1) the Yuan Dynasty, it enjoyed a history of about 1, 600 years.

This ancient road begins at Chang'an(now Xi'an), and it reaches Dunhuang, where it divides into three, the Southern Route, Central Route and Northern Route.
