I am walking in the park. In front of me there is a mom and her 3-year-old daughter. The little girl is holding a balloon in her hand.

All of a sudden, a light wind takes the balloon away from the little girl. I think she will cry.

But, no! As the little girl looks up to watch the balloon fly to the sky, she happily shouts out, ”Wow! How high it flies!” The little girl teaches me something.

Sometimes when we have unexpected(意料之外的)problems, we always think,” Oh, no, how unlucky we are!”or “What should we do” But thinking about the little girl, why don’t we say, ”Wow, that’s interesting!”

One thing is for sure-----life is always going to make us face unexpected problems. However, how to deal with (处理) is our choice. We can choose (选择) to be unhappy or interested.

No matter what happens, a “wow!” will always be better than “oh, no!” So the next time you meet one of the life’s unexpected problems, remember that little girl and just say ,”wow!” it always works. 47. Where is the little girl?

A. in the park B. In the street C. At school D. At home

48. What happens to the girl?

A. She loves her keys B. She can’t find her home C. Her mother leaves D. Her balloon flies to the sky 49. How does the girl feel?

A. Easy B. Fun C. Sad D. Unhappy

50. When we meet an unexpected problem, _____________. A. we should feel unlucky B. we can go to friends for help C. we can think it interesting D. we will cry and say, “oh, no”

Teenagers who often eat fish may be doing their brains some good,a new study suggests.

Swedish researchers found that among nearly 5000 15-year-old teenagers they surveyed, those who eat fish more than once a week are likely to score(得分) higher on intelligence(智力) tests three years later. The findings show that fish may indeed be brain food.

Researchers believe that fish — especially oily fish are important to early brain development(脑发育) and to keeping healthy brain function in life. The findings are based on data(数据) from 4792 teenagers who answered questions on food and lifestyle when they were 15 years old.And when they were 18, they had an intelligence test.

The study team found, those who ate fish more than once a week usually scored higher than those who ate fish less. The researchers also studied several other factors that influence(影响)both children's diets and their intelligence scores — like parents' education levels.(教育水平)

\,\,the head of the team,said,\,when educational achievements(成就) can help to shape the rest of a young person's life.\

It's too soon to make specific(具体的) diet suggestions for teenagers, according to Aberg,\,\,\including fish in a diet can make a valuable contribution(贡献) to intelligence in teenagers.\

51. Who scores higher on intelligence tests?
