学习目标: 1. To understand the name of Chinese things. 2. To know the names of Chinese sights 3. To distinguish the cities which the sights lie in 学习重难点: 1. Vocabulary: although, paper cut, chopstick 2. Sentences: Although there’s still a long way to go, we’d better continue to the end. 课前导学 一、听录音跟读P40-41&P46单词。 二、预习并翻译下列短语: 1、舞龙 2、中国结 3、中国剪纸 4、中国功夫 5、休息 6、坚持到底 7、叫醒某人 8、好长的路要走 9、天安门 10、兵马俑 课堂活动 Comic strip & Welcome to the unit Step1 Presentation 1 Talk about Chinese culture with students (Show students some pictures). 2 Elicit students to talk about the Great Wall, then tell students that Eddie and Hobo are visiting the Great Wall. What do they think of it? Step 2 Practice ( Learning the Comic strip) 1 Let students go through the comic strip, ask some questions. 1) What does Hobo think of the Great Wall? 2) Does Eddie like visiting the Great Wall? 3) Do you think Eddie will continue to the end? 2 Play the tape once, choose able students to give the answers. 3 Play the tape again. Students listen and repeat. 4 Encourage students to act out the dialogue in pairs. 5 Give some explanation.
