Step1:Warm up 1. Greetings 2. Review the words . Have a chant . Mine , mine , mine . It isn’t yours . Yours , yours , yours . It isn’t hers . Hers , hers , hers . It isn’t his . His , his , his . It isn’t mine . 3. Sing a song .“The London Eye ” Step2: Presentation 1.Active 1 Who can remember 1). The teacher put the things what the pupils bring on the teacher’s desk . 2) Take one of them , and ask “Whose bag is this ? ”The pupil who is owner answers “It’s mine.” Others say together “It’s Daming’s”. Then ask and answer for each thing . Let the pupils remember the owners of the things . 3) Take one of them , and ask “Whose bag is this ? Let the pupils think over and find out “Whose this is”.Then put up hand and answer “It’s Daming’s”. If his answer is right , he can come to the front of the classroom and choose one of the things and ask Whose pen is this ? . Another one answers . If his answer is wrong . Another pupil instead . 2.Active 2 Return the things 1) Put other things on the teacher’s desk . Like: sweater , cap , T—shirt 2) Tell the pupils: The teacher wants to return the things on the desk , but don’t know “Whose it is”So needs the pupils’ help . 3) Take one of them , and ask “Is this Sam’s T—shirt ?” the pupils judge and answer “Yes ,it’s his . / No , it isn’t his .” Last , the owner judge . 4) Ask the pupils to be a teacher , ask and answer and return the things . Step3 : New teaching 1.The pupils read the text and tell the story in groups . ( can use Chinese ) 2.Listen to the tape , the pupils read text by following it ,then read in groups . ( different characters ) 3. Ask some groups to act in the front of the class . Show which group is winner . 4.Part 2 on page 16 . First let the pupils ask and answer in groups , by using ------ Whose bag is this ? ------ It’s Lingling’s bag . Then ask some groups to show in the front of classroom . and let the pupils judge which group is best . Last, let the pupils write down the conversations on their books . Step 4: Summary 1.
