What is Academic Research and Research Paper Writing, different people have different ideas. In my opinion there have certain features which appears to be typical features of the academic research. For example, academic text answers a specific question, using a set of well-structured, logical arguments. The arguments are frequently based on research carried out by the researchers. Academic texts contain reference to previous research, which are documented at the end of the text. Academic texts are written in an impersonal, objective style, and are characterized by certain language feature.

As for Research Paper Writing, it has nine sections. Section 1: abstract, a short summery. Section 2: key words, choose from the title and abstract, Section 3: introduction, by making a counterclaim to a previous researcher's. Section 4: literature review, Purpose of writing the literature review: put what you are doing in context. Section 5: Methodology, Section 6: findings, Section 7: discussion, involves commenting on the significance of the project and findings, highlighting. Section 8: conclusion, Section 9: references / works cited/ bibliography.
