borrow 借，借用 1. borrow sth. from sb. 跟某人借某物翻译：我想跟你借一支铅笔。

I want to borrow a pencil from you.你可以跟他借排球。

You can borrow a volleyball from him.

2. lend sth. to sb. 把某物借给某人翻译：我可以把我的尺借给你。

I can lend my ruler to you.

区别：many后加可数名词，much后加不可数 名词，lots of和a lot of后既可加可数名词也可 加不可数名词
