Unit 9 How was your weekend? 说课稿
Good morning every one,I’m glad to talk about my teaching plan to you. My topic is Gread 7BookB Unit9 How was your weekend?SectionA The first part of my teaching plan is the analysis of the teaching material. Part1 Analysis of the teaching materials:
In this unit we will learn new grammar “the simple past tense”,By learning it students can learn the basic sentence structures, including what did you do last weekend? How was your last weekend? Such topic is helpful to improve the ss’abilities , listening,speaking and reading abilities,and also help ss totalk about past events. And it is the first period of this unit, so learning this lesson well is very important for their further study. Part 2 Teaching aims 1:Knowledge aims:
(1)be able to master words and phrases ,such as did my homework,went to the beach and so on , learn to use the sentence structures, such as: what did you do last weekend? Did she stay at home yesterday?How was your weekend?
(2) be able to talk aboutpast events 2.Ability aims:
(1)After teaching and learning activities, students be able to learn how to catch key words and basic sentence structures to use in their daily study.
(2)improve ss’ listening, speaking , communicate abilities and handwriting
Part3 Teaching methods and learning ways
To overcome the difficulties and achieve my aims I choose the following teaching methods:task-based teaching method, group cooperate method and competition.
I’ll use the Multi-media ,small blackboards,and a tape recorder to help me achieve my aims. Part4 Teaching steps Step1.Warm up
Sing a song “What did you do?” The aim of this step is to prepare the new lesson Step2. Check the homework
Make some sentences using these new words, including be,do,go,visit,stay,have,practice,study
The aim of this step it to revise 4 forms of the verbs :do,does,to do,doing
Step3. Presentation
1.lead into last night (past time)I was at home,and I cleaned my room… Write was,cleaned,watched,did,went on the blackboard. 2 Be able to master Simple past of regular and irregular verbs 3. Listen and fill in the blanks with Simple past of regular and irregular
verbs
The aim of this step is to practice the target language
Step4 Pairwork Talk about 4 pictures using The Simple Past Tense A; What did he / she / they do in the past time? B:He /She / They du… C:Did …do?
D: He /She/ They didn’t do…
Then aim;According to the pictures,ss can remember the words easily Step5 Write own sentences using The Simple Past Tense 1.ask ss to use the verbs be,do,go,stay,study,prctice,have,visit to make sentences using The Simple Past Tense
The aim of this step is to make ss use target language freely.
The aim of this step is to make ss use target language freely and train speaking skills Step6 Listening 2a: 1. Listen and number 5 phrases 2. Listen again and fill in the blanks
The aims of these two steps are to train ss listening abilities and practice the target language. Step7 Summary Step 8 Homework
