If the defendant refuses to appear in court without any justified reasons after receiving the summons, the People's Court will announce a judgment by default according to the plaintiff's claim and the evidence materials that both parties have submitted to our court.

3、适用于简易程序审理的民事案件可以当庭宣判。当

庭宣判的，人民法院可以当庭送达裁判文书；当庭不能送达的，人民法院将当庭告知当事人领取裁判文书的时间和地点，逾期不来领取的，不影响上诉期间的计算。

3 The People's Court can announce a judgment in court to a civil case suitable for simplified procedure trial, if announcing a judgment in court, the People's Court can deliver the judgment documents in court, if can't, the People's Court will inform the litigants of the time and place for them to receive the judgment documents. If the litigants don’t receive the documents before exceeding the time limit, the calculation of the appeal period will not be affected.
