不定冠词

冠词是一种虚词,只能和名词一起用,用来限定名词的意义,起泛指或特指的作用。 一.冠词分类:

1.不定冠词:a, an “一”

a用于辅音音素前,an用于元音音素前。(不见元音不加an,不看字母看发音) eg: a boy a university a cat a useful book an English man an hour an “f” an apple

注意: a one-year-old boy an 8-year-old boy an 11-year-old boy an f/s/l/x/n/r/h an umbrella an uncle a university a useful book

以其它元音字母a, e, i, o开头的单词,都用an而不用a,因为这四个字母都发元音音素。 e.g.: an island an onion an old man 2.定冠词:the 3.零冠词

二.不定冠词用法:表泛指

1.泛指某一类人或物,以区别于其他种类。

eg: A bird has wings. 鸟有翅膀。

A horse is useful to mankind. 马对人类有用. A car runs faster than a bus.

2. 表示数量“一”:泛指某人或某物,但又不具体说明何人何物;或用于第一次提到的某人或某物.

eg: There is a man over there. 那边有一个人。

The police caught a thief. 警察抓了一个小偷 I bought a book . The book was very useful.

3.用在事物的“单位”前,如时间、速度、价格等意义的名词之前,表示“每一”. Eg: once a week

We have six classes a day.

The car can run 200 kilometers an hour.

4.放在序数词前表示“另一”或“再一”

Eg: Could you give me a second chance? 能再给我一次机会吗?

I want to have a third try. 我想再试一次。

5.用在一些习惯用语中:

a little / a few, have a good time, as a matter of fact, a number of(大量的), half an hour(半小时)

注:和one的区别:a/an表示类别,种类;one强调数量

a bus (表示是公交车而不是别的车) one bus(强调是一辆车而不是两辆或三辆)
