比较: Lying is wrong.(泛指这重做法\\作风).To lie is wrong.(对于执行者是谁,心目中是有所指的) 3.

It’s no good (no use\\fun\\a pleasure\\a waste of time) doing It is no use waiting here.

2.There is no + doing(telling,saying...)= It is impossible to.. There is no getting along with him.(简直无法同他相处.) 3.

Her mother’s being ill prevented her from traveling with us. 4.

admit,advise,allow,appreciate,avoid,consider,delay,encourage,enjoy,escape,finish,keep,imagine,mind,miss,practise,prevent(from),risk,suggest,spend,permit, feel like,give up,insist on,end up,put off等,但是advise,allow,encourage,permit,forbid+sb.+to do sth.

如:begin,start,continue,like,love,like,hate,intend等. Your room needs cleaning\\to be cleaned.\\be worth +doing表被动.

forget,remember,regret后接to do,表示现在或未来的动作,接-ing表示动作已经发生; can’t help doing(禁不住)\\to do(不能帮助干…); mean to do \\doing; try to do \\doing; stop to do\\doing; go on to do \\doing.

a. 介词如:for,of, about,in ,on ,with, without, at ,by, up ,after, before, besides, from等,

动名词前的介词有时可省,如:have difficulty(in)doing sth.have no trouble (in)doing,spend\\waste time (in)doing,prevent\\stop…(from)doing,there is no use (in)doing.

b. To 在下列短语中是介词,后接-ing或名词,如:devote…to…,owe…to…,face up

to(勇敢地面对),look forward to(盼望),be used to(习惯于),turn to(转向,求助于),make a contribution to,pay attention to(注意),prefer…to…,refer to…等.
