qPCR与RT-PCR

虽然Real-time PCR（实时荧光定量PCR）和Reverse transcription PCR（反转录PCR）看起来都可以缩写为RT-PCR，但是，国际上的约定俗成的是：RT-PCR特指反转录PCR，而Real-time PCR一般缩写为qPCR（quantitative real-time PCR）。

更正楼主的观点：qPCR不一定与反转录相关，除了可以用cDNA作为模板，也可以用基因组DNA等作为模板。而反转录PCR也不一定非要与荧光定量相关，从mRNA中反转录得到cDNA，然后PCR扩增出目的基因，这也是反转录PCR。

综上，那RT-qPCR（也有人写成qRT-PCR）就很好理解了，就是结合了荧光定量技术的反转录PCR：先从RNA反转录得到cDNA（RT），然后用Real-time PCR进行定量分析（qPCR）。 有兴趣的话可以看看维基百科：
