Setting the Standard
Designed specifically to target the diverse applications found inthe supply and treatment of both potable and waste water,MagMaster sets new levels of accuracy, reliability and low costof ownership.
MagMaster's ground-breaking design guarantees long-termcalibration stability, coupled with the wide range of sizes, 15 to2600mm (0.5 to 102 in.), choice of lining and electrode materialquickly established MagMaster as the de facto industrystandard electromagnetic flow meter.
Calibration Verification
CalMaster is the world's first in situ calibration verificationsystem. The system allows the calibration of MagMasterelectromagnetic flow meters to be verified without the need for'wet calibration'. The complex series of tests automaticallyperformed by CalMaster is completed and a certificateproduced without costly excavation of the sensor or disruptionto the water supply. A complete solution to the regulatoryrequirement for routine verification and traceability ofelectromagnetic flow meters.
Class-leading Flow Performance
The combination of sensors with ultra-linear magnetics, proventechnology, signal processing and sensor drive results inunsurpassed accuracy and an operable flow range of 1500:1.MagMaster's class-leading performance ensures reliable andaccurate measurement over the widely varying flow rates,including minimal night flows, which occur in typical water andwaste water systems.
Assured Quality
MagMaster is designed and manufactured in accordance withinternational quality procedures (ISO 9001) and all flowmetersare calibrated on nationally-traceable calibration rigs to providethe end user with complete assurance of both quality andperformance of the meter.

The software features multi-levelpassword protection to prevent unauthorized configurationchanges. In the 2-line display only variant, display data can onlybe changed using a magnetic wand, no operational parameterscan be changed without the use of a configurator andappropriate passwords.

Easy, Low-cost Installation
MagMaster sensors' rugged and robust construction ensure along, maintenance-free life under the arduous conditionsexperienced in the water and waste water industry. The sensorsare fully submersible, meeting the requirements of IP68(NEMA6P) enabling installation in flooded chambers or meteringpits.
MagMaster sensors in all sizes are buriable. Installation merelyinvolves excavating to the underground pipe, fitting the sensor,cabling back to the transmitter and then backfilling the hole. Nometering chambers or pits are required so the installation issimple, fast and low cost.

International Approvals
Alternative versions of MagMaster are available for generallocations with FM Approval and for Hazardous Area locations toATEX, FM and CSA Standards. A brief summary of theseHazardous Area versions is given below, covering the safetydesignation inside the pipe. No external safety barriers arerequired.
