A. Introduction of STM32
STM32 is based on the family of ARM Cortex-M3 core - designed specifically for embedded applications that require high performance, low cost, low power consumption. a. STMicroelectronics Group

Sleep mode: only the CPU stops working, all peripherals continue to run, wake up the CPU interrupt / event occurs; Stop mode: allows keeping the contents of the SRAM and registering with minimal power consumption.
