B5M7U1 He can’t see.

一、教材分析:

本单元以“Dogs”为主线,谈论动物对人类的帮助。用can和can’t表达人们能做和不能做的事情,通过学习本课让学生能够正确运用 She/He/They can’t 在本模块中还出现了宾格him, her, them的应用。本模块主要语语句为:He/ She can’t walk/ hear/see. This dog helps him/ her. These firemen help them.

二、学情分析:

五年级学生基础较好。他们已掌握了一定的语音、词汇、语法、话题表达等英语基础知识,具备了一定的听、说、读、写能力,形成了一定的综合语言运用能力。因此,教学中,应从学生已有的知识、能力、经验和兴趣出发,根据教学内容,采用灵活的教学方法,精心设计有一定挑战性的教学活动,促使学生在参与、实践、体验、合作与交流活动中学习、运用并掌握知识,进一步发展综合语言运用能力,稳定英语学习兴趣。

三、 教学目标:

1、知识目标:

1)学生能听懂,会读“三会”单词:show useful blind deaf hear

2)学生能听懂、读、会说句型He/She can’t ;This dog helps

2、情感目标:

1)通过学习用英语简单向他人描述自己所喜欢的动物能做和不能做的事

2)使学生认识到保护动物,保护自然的重要性。

3)培养学生尊重和乐于帮助残障人的良好品质。

3、能力目标

学生学会用can和can’t表达人们能做和不能做的事情。

四、教学重难点:

重点:学生能正确而运用句型He/She can’t ;This dog helps 难点:学生能正确发音firefighters这个单词

五、教学过程

Step1. Warming up

1. Greetings

T: Hello ,boys and girls. I’m Ms Zhang.

Ss: Hello,Ms Zhang.

T: Today Group 1 and Group 2 are going to have a match. Let me see which group will be the winner this class. Please come on ,OK? Ss: OK.

2. Warm-up

T: First, let’s play a guessing game: It’s my favourite animal. It’s clever and cute. What is it? You can answer with

“It is ”

S1: It is

T:Maybe.

S2: It is

T:Maybe. Let’s check. Listen(放狗叫声音频)It is a

Ss: It is a dog.

T: Yes. And here’s a chant about dogs.First, watch the video, then chant together. Clearly?

Ss: Yes.

(设计意图:由听老师描述猜动物引出本课动物——狗,在训练学生听力的同时启发学生思考,而韵律感极强的chant视频也吸引了学生的眼球,让学生以最快速度融入英语课堂中)

Step 2 Presentation

1.T: A good job. Boys and girls. Do you like dogs?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: Our friend Sam, Amy and Lingling like dogs, too. Now they are watching a TV show about dogs. (学习单词show)Do you want to watch the TV show?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: Now let’s watch it together. Watch and choose the pictures in the TV show. (PPT出示图片让学生看完后选择)

(设计意图:整体看第一遍视频,选择电视节目中出现的图片,让学生做到对文本的整体感知)

2. T: From these pictures we can know dogs can help people. But what can dos do for people? Listen to P1/2 and fill in the blanks.

(再次听课文第一部分和第一二幅图,填空后学习单词,然后拍手用

韵句的节奏让学习练说这些句子。)

T: What else can dogs do for people? Listen to picture 3 and judge. (适时学习firefighters)

T: Dogs are very useful.They can help the blind people,he deaf people and the firemen. So dogs are very useful. (适时学习useful)

4.Practise in pairs(把这三幅图画做成对话形式,让学生练习且展示)

5. I’m the TV presenter.

T: Talk about these picutres. Try to be a TV presenter.

(设计意图:让学生自由选择一到三幅图片,然后作为一名电视节目主持人上前展示,做到了对本课重点句型的巩固)

6.T:Can Sam have a dog? Let’s listen.(在这里学习hot dog和sausage,向学生展示一段关于hot dogs 的知识链接)
