In October 2010, I volunteered ( 义务做 ) to work in Thailand. When I arrived in Thailand, I thought I would be taken to an orphanage ( 孤儿院 ). However, I was told that I had to go to the place where I would live by train by myself. And then I knew that my job was to teach English in a school.

The next day I went to the school and met the kids I would teach. In the
