2008年9月,国务院批复《武汉城市圈资源节约型和环境友好型社会建设综合配套改革试验总体方案》,明确了武汉城市圈综合配套改革实验的总体目标,武汉“两型社会”建设正式拉幕. In

2009年,武汉生产总值预计达4500亿元,其中服务业增加值占一大半,超过成都、宁波等城市,与广州、深圳、杭州、青岛并立第一方阵。In 2009, Wuhan’s total output value was predicted to be 45 billion; Service Industry added value taked up more than half of it. That exceeded Chengdu, Ningbo and other cities, and existed side by side with Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Qingdao, being the first square array.

国家自主创新示范区 National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zones

2009年12月,国务院批复武汉东湖高新区成为继中关村的第二个国家自主创新示范区,湖北省、武汉市将“举全省、全市之力“,支持东湖高新区建设国家自主创新示范区,加快政府引导、以企业为主体的创新体系建设,并在融资平台、税收政策、人才引进、股权激励和创新机制方面制定一系列相关配套政策。In December,2009,the State Council agreed the East Lake High-tech District in Wuhan to be the second National Self-independent Innovation Demonstration Zone after Zhongguancun. Hubei Province, as well as Wuhan, would try its best to support this project and quicken the leadership of the government, take the enterprise as the main body of the construction of innovation system. They would also lay down a series of related supporting policies in the aspects of financing platform, tax policy, talent introduction, Stockholder’s rights drive and innovation system.

中部中心城市 Central city in Middle part

2010年3月8日,《武汉市城市总体规划(2010-2020年)》通过国务院正式批复。 武汉在全国发展布局中的功能定位由“我国中部重要的中心城市”上升为“我国中部地区的中心城市”,进一步明确了武汉作为中部地区龙头城市的地位。

On March 8th,2010,The Urban Overall Planning of Wuhan(2010-2020) received the official approval from The State Council. Thus Wuhan’s function in the whole country’s development rised from “an important central city in middle part” to “a key city in middle part”,which SSfurther clarified the position Wuhan holded as a leading city in middle part.

规划用地1600亩,规划建筑面积160万平方米,项目建成后,将能满足8-10家金融机构设立综合性后台中心、30家专业后台中心和100家配套服务外包企业的空间需求,新增10余万就业岗位。The planning land covered 1600 mu and the planning building area taked up 1.6million square meters. It would meet the space demands of 8-10 financial institutions’ comprehensive backstage centers, 30 professional backstage centers and 100 supporting service outsourcing firms and increase more than 100 thousands positions.

功能定位 Functional orientation

光谷金融港以建设全国性金融后台中心为目标,可满足呼叫中心、电话营销中心、培训中心、研发中心、清算中心、票据中心、数据中心、档案中心、灾备中心等后台办公以及现代服务业发展的空间需求。Optics Valley Financial Harbour’s goal is to construct national financial backstage centers which can meet the space demands of backstage office like calling centers, telemarketing, training centers .research centers, clearing houses, note centers, data centers , archives centers, disaster preparation centers etc. and the development of modern service industry.

同时,还将引进企业总部、软件研发与服务外包、企业研发中心等Meanwhile, it would introduce enterprises’ headquarters, software research and service outsourcing, enterprises’ research centers and so on.
