A Brief Introduction for Exchange Program between China and Canada

A Brief Introduction for Exchange Program between Luoyang Foreign School and Lester B Person School Board in Montreal , Canada.

In order to communicate and open the students’ eyes to the outside world, experience

different education and culture,the Lester B. Person School Board and Luoyang Foreign Language School signed a Letter of Intention and an Agreement. According to the two agreements, the two schools established a partnership. The partnership includes the establishment of a Sister School Relationship between two organizations, Sino-Canada Class at the Luoyang Foreign Language School, and exchange of students, teachers and school administrators between two organizations every year. The two school will provide accommodation expenses for students , teachers and administrators. The purpose is to provide more chances for students to open their eyes to the outside world.

洛阳外国语学校和加拿大、蒙特里尔、莱斯特比逊教育委员会友好交流项目简介。 为进一步深化交流合作，开拓学生国际视野，体验异国教育和文化，我校和加拿大魁北克省莱斯特·比·皮尔逊教育委员合作开展交换生交流项目。莱斯特比逊教育委员会和洛阳外国语学校签订了意向书，协议。根据这两个协议，建立了合作伙伴关系。包括组织之间建立姐妹学校，中加班设在洛阳外国语学校，每年两个组织之间进行学生、教师和行政人员的交流，两个组织将为交流师生和行政人员提供食宿。目的是给学生提供更多开阔外面世界视野的机会。

A Brief Introduction of the First trip of the students and teachers from Luoyang Foreign Language School to Lindsay Place School ,Montreal, Canada.

洛阳外国语学校师生的首次加拿大、蒙特利尔，林夕学校之行简介 Two teachers (Yuan Xinguo, Bai Hongxu) and ten students (zhang Yuchen, Liu Xiaolei, Zhou Guoqing, Wang Tong from Huayang Branch School, Sun Jianjie, Qin Jiameng, Yao Xinkai, Sun Tianyi, Yu Jieni, Bi Zhaocong from Dongxiaoqu) left

Luoyang airport at 10:30 on June, the second, and arrived at Lindsay Place School at 22:30 am. on June, the second. The following is our activity arrangement.

洛阳外国语学校一行12人，包括苑新国、白红旭两名教师，来自于华洋分校的张雨辰、刘晓蕾、周国卿、王彤四名学生，以及来自以东校区的孙天奕、于洁旎、毕兆聪、姚心恺、孙建杰、秦佳蒙六位学生，我们六月2日上午10半从洛阳机场出发，于加拿大时间晚上10班到达林夕学校。 以下是我校交流师生的日程表。

The first day morning, we saw the squirrels in the morning, they were very cute. We were very surprised to see them, so we took lots of photos. We saw Mrs. Dianea first time. She was kind. She shook hands with everyone and let us say”hello” to others. We played games in the class. I like “Zingo” the best.

The second day morning, we still had the class with Mrs. Dianea. In the afternoon, we saw a movie called “The Croods”. I was surprised that I can understand an English movie. I think my English improve in Canada.

5th is the most interesting day. We made Maple Syrup and ate it. It was delicious. We visited the kitchen. There were too many beautiful wedding cakes in the kitchen.

Maybe I write the wrong date about them, but that’s not important.

We went to the kindergarten. The kids were really cute and talented. A three-year-old girl could speak four languages.

We went to “Parliament Building”. We went to lots of museums. That’s amazing! Different museum has different style, but they have the same culture: North America Indian. The culture can be discovered by “Dream Catcher”. I bought it. But I had a bad dream this evening. Perhaps the dream catcher didn’t have enough time to fit me. I didn’t have bad dreams anymore.

I have gone to the zoo called “Eco-Museum”. I saw owls, otters, turtles, foxes, so many animals. I also saw frogs, snakes in the aquarium inside. I saw some bones inside. I bought a cotton otter and a bookmark.

The last class of Mrs. Dianea is a little sad. We took lots of photos of her. Impression in Canada 孙天奕

On June 2nd. We went to the Luoyang airport excitedly, because we would go to Canada soon. First, we went toToronto by plane from Beijing. Toronto is a beautiful city, the sky is blue, the clouds are white, and the weather was very nice. We felt very happy and surprised. Then, we went to Montreal. I saw this city in the sky on the flight; I felt I was in a picture! The cars were very small, just like ants.

The next day, we had an English lesson . Our English teacher was Miss Dianea. The Canadian English lessons were different from Chinese lessons. In Canadian English lessons, we could take photos, and we could be telexed, but in China, we have to sit down and be correct. So we all like our teacher—Miss Dianea. Dianea is a very good teacher, she is never angry with anyone; she is kind and smile all the time. She loves every kids.

These days we went to the capital of Canada—Ottawa , and the largest city of Canada—Toronto. And we saw a film, visited some church. Went to the zoo and saw many interesting birds and others animals. We went to the museum of Canadian history and we knew a lot of history of Canada. We played bowling .We watched baseball games , and we went shopping.

I love this country, I love this city. The beautiful environment let me unforgettable. The blue sky let me relaxed. The vast of farmland make me shake!

Impression in Canada周国卿

The first day, on June 2nd, we have arrived in Montreal. The next day, we have an ESL class. We met our teacher, Miss Diana Phillips. In the class, we went outside and took some photos. On June 4th, we went the theater to see a film; the name was ‘The Crowds’. It’s an English movie, so I couldn’t understand all of them, but I knew much of them. I was very happy for this! We went to the park behind our dormitory. We were very happy to walk and follow the path after class! The park is different from our country’s, because it’s in the suburb.

On June 5th, we visited the famous peace tower in Ottawa. It’s 107metters tall, stands in the center of the building groups.

On June 14th, we went to Toronto to see the Niagara Falls. It’s the widest fall in the world. Unfortunately we cannot close it, because a part of it is in the United States.

On June 15th,we visited Toronto TV Tower. It’s the second tallest TV tower in the world. On the way back, we were very lucky to see the boodle rainbow!

This is the first time for me to go abroad. I am looking forward to the next time soon

Trip to Canada 毕兆聪

First day, we arrived at Montreal. We arrived there at night. We were all so tired. Second day, we had a ESL class. I met our teacher, Mrs.Dianea Phillips. She is tall and a little bit dark. Her class was very lively.

We went to the movie theater to watch the movie called The Croods on June 4th.The movie was really interesting and exciting .Although it was an English movie, I could understand what the movie is about. I was very excited for this .That means I made progress in English. After we watched movies, we went back to the dormitory.

We often went out to the park that behind our dormitory. There were many trees and grass in the park. It was beautiful.

Then we visited Ottawa, the capital of Canada on June 6th. I think Ottawa was a little classical. We visited The Peace Tower. We also went to a museum. The museum exhibited a lot of Indian things. They looked strange.

The next day, we had another ESL class. We always had a “Zingo” game. But I have never been the winner of the game. Then we went to The Lindsay Place High School. I met many Canadian students. I made friends with them.

We had a Montreal tour on June 8th. We went shopping on Down Town.

On June 9th, we visited Eco-museum. We saw many kinds of animals. For example, we saw foxes, wolfs, ducks and lots of colorful birds. They looked beautiful and cute. I really enjoyed it. On the afternoon, we had our last ESL class with Mrs.Dianea. All of us were loath to part with Dianea. We left for Toronto on Monday morning. It took us six hours to go there by bus. We first went to Niagara Falls. We took a boat on Niagara River. So we could have a closer look at the Niagara Falls. It was terrific and spectacular. It felt just like rain. I took many photos here.(My teachers took so many photos everywhere.) Then we went to a number of attractions in Toronto.

And we went back to Montreal. We went shopping and went to the amusement park. We all got wet. But we felt happy and pleasantly cool. We ended the last day in Canada.

It was a very unusual experience to go to Canada. Canada is a clean and green country. Canadian sky is pretty blue. I like this county. It is fantastic.

My trip to Canada 孙健杰

The first day, we arrived at Montreal. It is twelve o’clock in Toronto. We had noodles and chicken for supper. It’s very delicious. I like it. The second day, we met our teacher. Her name was Diana Phillip. And we had an good English with her in the morning. In the afternoon, we went to the cinema to see the film---The Croods. It was very wonderful. We think it was relaxing and interesting. I like it very much. Then went back to our dormitories. I often went out to the park near hear and the supermarket with my friends. In the park behind our dormitory there was many trees and flowers. It was very beautiful. Then we visited the Ottawa. It was the capital of Canada. I buy many things there. And we dropped in at many place. We visited the Museum of natural history. The museum has a lot of things about Indian things. They looked very old and strange. After we got back the Montreal, we had another ESL class on June 7th We had many games in our class. We were very happy.We had a Montreal Tour on June 8th And we went shopping in Down Town.

On June 9th,, we visited Eco-museum. We saw many animals, for example foxes, wolves, rabbits and so on. They are very beautiful and funny. In the afternoon, we had the last ESL class

with Mrs Diana. We all took photos with her.

We also go to the Toronto on the tenth day. We visited the Niagara Falls . It was very grand and it looked like the Milky Way. We had pizza for supper, it was more delicious than noodles.

The last day we went to the amusement park, we played roller coaster, scooter car in it. We were very happy.

We had a great time in Canada. I don’t want to leave it.

MY LAST INTERNATIONAL CLASS JOURNAL 刘晓雷

On June 2nd, we got Canada by plane. When we got there, we felt very exciting and everything was new and fresh in our eyes. Then we started our trips and new lives in Canada. We first went to our dormitory. We were all surprised that the dormitory was really wonderful. It was late and we were tired. So we went to bed.

After a good sleep. We got up and had a delicious breakfast. After that, we met our English teacher, Mrs. Diana. Mrs. Diana was a really good teacher. She was kind, friendly, funny, helpful and hard-working. Her classes were very interesting, I love her very much. In her class, we practiced our spoken English, listening and brain, we made snow, we tasted the sweet maple syrup and we played games. Of cause, we learned a lot of knowledge, too.

And during these days, we went to the supermarket and bought many things, such as ice-cream, drinks, chocolates, candies and so on. We went to a kindergarten and played with the cute children. We saw a wonderful movie called “The Croods.” We went to the capital city of Canada, Ottawa and Toronto, we took many beautiful photos. We ate meals in Chine Town. We went to Lindsay Place High School and send each other presents. We saw cards magic that a boy called Max showed. We shopped in Montreal. We went to the zoo. We went to the amusement park and played. We saw Niagara Falls. We played bowling…

In a word, there is a big difference between China and Canada. I love China. I also love Canada. Everything is perfect, everything we enjoyed.
