(二)常见句式和习语

1. Let me help you. 让我帮助你

let sb. do sth. 让某人做某事

sb. 是宾语,后面加的是省to的不定式

在英语中及物动词加宾语后常见有三种动词形式:

加“to”;省“to”;加不加均可

常见的句式有

(1)省to

let / make sb do 让(使得)某人做

Let the boy go home 让这个孩子回家

Let us have a rest 让我们休息一会儿

Make the kite fly 使风筝飞起来

He made the baby stop crying 他使那个孩子停止了哭

(2)不省to

ask / tell / want / would like / invite sb. to do …请(告诉,想要,邀请)某人做某事Tell them to come early 告诉他们早来

I want my son to go to college 我想要儿子上大学

Li Lei invited Jenny to go to his party 李磊邀请詹妮去参加他的聚会

(3)加不加均可

help sb(to)do …帮某人做某事

I helped my mother (to)do the housework last Sunday. 上周日我帮妈妈做家务了

2. It’s time for breakfast . 该吃早饭了

It’s time for + n. = It’s time to + v. 该做…了.

例如:It’s time for school. = It’s time to go to school. 该上学了.

It’s time for rest .= It’s time to have a rest. 该休息了.

另外:It’s time for sb. to do sth. 该某人做某事了。

It’s time for us to go to work. 我们该上班了

也可以说:Time to / for…

3. What would you like for…? 如:(Christmas/breakfast / lunch / supper )

圣诞节早/午/ 晚饭要吃什么?

I would like +n. 我想吃….

也可以说: What would you like to have…?

What would you like to have for supper?

I’ d like noodles. 我想吃面条.

4. What’s for supper? 晚饭吃什么?

Meat and vegetables. 肉和蔬菜

5. What’s the temperature outside? 外面多少度?

It’s twenty degrees. 二十度.

6. What a cold snowy day! 多冷的一个雪天!

感叹句:what修饰名词

其句式为:(1)What +an/ a+形容词+单复数可数名词+主语+谓语!

What a bright room it is ! 多亮的一个房间!

What a clever boy he is ! 他是一个多么聪明的孩子!

(2)What+形容词+不可数名词+主语+谓语!

What fine weather it is ! 多好的天气!

What hard work it is ! 多难的工作!

(3)What +形容词+复数名词+主语+谓语

What beautiful flowers they are ! 多美的花

What honest boys they are! 多诚实的孩子!

7. I don’t think so. 我不认为这样.

表示与别人意见不一致

He is a good student ,do you think so? 他是一个好学生,你认为这样吗?

I don’t think so . 我不认为这样.

如果与别人意见一致则为: I think so 如:

They will come, do you think so? 他们会来,你认为呢?

Yes, I think so. 是的我想会的.

另外,类似的用法还有:

I hope so. / I hope not. 我希望如/我希望不会的

I’m afraid so. / I’m afraid not. 我恐怕这样/恐怕不会的

8. That’s great != That’s wonderful! 太好了

9. What do you like to do ? 你喜欢做什么?

I like to …我喜欢…

What do you like to do in summer? I like to swim.

夏天你喜欢做什么? 我喜欢游泳。

10. Why? Because…为什么? 因为….

Why do you like winter? 你为什么喜欢冬天?

Because I like snow. 因为我喜欢雪。

Why do you learn English so hard? 你为什么如此努力学英语?

Because it is very useful and important. 因为英语重要而有用。

(三)重点词句:

1. Don’t forget your boots and umbrellas. 别忘了你的靴子和雨伞。

祈使句前加don’t构成否定句,祈使句中的动词用原形

Don’t open your books 别打开看书

Close the door, please. 请关门

forget,动词,忘记,反义词为remember,后面常加to do 或doing形式的词,即forget / remember to do / doing,但意思不同。

to do 表示未做的动作

doing 表示已做动作

Don’t forget to lock the door. 别忘了锁门。

I remember meeting you. 我记得见过你。

2. Does every one in your family speak English ? 你们家每个人讲英语吗?

everyone不定代词视为单数,作主语时动词用单三形式

in your family作everyone的后置定语

介词短语作定语要放在修饰词后

the boy in the tree 树上的男孩

再如:Everyone in the living room is quiet. 客厅里的每个人都很安静。

speak English. 说英语

说某国语言用speak 如:speak French 说法语

3. There words get bigger with an s. See the “s” at the end of these words.

这些单词加上s就变大了。看这些词末尾的“s”

get bigger 变大get, 是系词, 后加形容词

get warmer 变暖

get better 变好

“s”前的冠词用an. 再如: an“m”; an“x”

字母前的冠词不是看字母本身是元、辅音,而是看该字母的第一个音素.

再如an “l”; a “u”

at the end of 在…末

at the end of last year. 去年年末

4. Let’s put a circle for usually. 让我们放一个圆代替通常。

put …for 为…而放

5. What else can you ask? 你还能问什么?

else形容词,别的,常用于疑问词或不定代词后

Who else do you want to see? 你还想见别人谁?

Do you have anything else to say? 你还有别的要说的吗?

6. And now the rain is gone and done 现在雨结束了。

gone, go 的过去分词,消失

gone, do 的过去分词

7. Li Ming put on his scarf, hat and mitts 李明戴上围巾,手套,帽子

scarf 复数可以是scarfs,也可以是scarves

mitts 连指手套,常用复数,或a pair of mitts. 一幅手套

8. We make another snowman. 我们又做了一个雪人

another 形容词, 又一个, 另一个, ( one more ), 常用于三者或三者以上

如:Would you like another cake? 再吃一块蛋糕吗?

9. It’s a Western holiday. 这是一个西方的节日。

western是west的形容词,方位词(东南西北east, south , west , north)形容词的转化

10. I am going to give them something special from China for their Christmas tree.

为圣诞节我打算给他们一些中国的特产。

something special. 一些特殊的东西。

something 不定代词,带定语要后置

something good 一些好的东西

something to eat 一些吃的东西

nothing much 没什么

11. I know what I would like. 我知道我想要什么。

= I know what I want.

宾语从句注意从句的语序是陈述形式

12. Who brought these gifts? 谁带来这些礼物?

who疑问词, 作主语时用陈述形式

Who likes you best in your family? 你家谁最喜欢你?

Who taught you to swim? 谁教你游泳?

My father did。我父亲。

13. Spring is warm and rainy. 春天暖和多雨。

rainy adj. 多雨的

rain可以作不可数名词,动词,如:

It often rains in summer. (v.) 夏天常下雨。

There is a lot of rain in summer. (n. )夏天的雨多。

rainy 是形容词,描述天气

It’s rainy today. 今天多雨

注意描述天气的词形转换,通常在名词词尾加y 构成其形容词

wind (风)→windy 风的cloud(云) →cloudy 多云的

snow (雪) →snowy 多雪的sun(太阳)→sunny 阳光充足

(四)语法:

1. 频度副词

英语中常用的频度副词有

always(一直总是)usually(通常)often (经常)

sometimes(有时)never(从不)

频度副词在句中常用于行为动词前,助动词、情态动词、be动词后,常用来表示一般现在时,对其提问常用how often(多久)。

He usually goes to work by bike but sometimes he goes on foot.

他常骑自行车上班,但有时步行。

How often do you watch TV? 你多久看一次电视?

Sometimes. 有时。

How often do you come to school late? 你多久来晚一次?

Never. 从不。

另外注意:often的反义词seldom(不常);always 的反义词为never;sometimes 和at times 同义。

频度副词usually / always / sometimes / never的用法见下表:

频率大小的程度可归纳为always>usually>often >sometimes>never, 位置上除sometimes可放于句首之外,其他四词一般放在句中实意动词前

3.一般将来时

“be going to+动词原形”这一结构表示将要发生的事或打算,计划、决定、要做某事,在使用时,助动词be(is, am, are)要随着主语的人称和数的变化而变化。变否定句时,在助动词be后面直接加上not, 变一般疑问形式时,要将be动词置于句首,常与be going to 结构连用的时间状语有tomorrow, this evening, next week / month / year等。

1)I’m going to do my homework this afternoon. 我打算今天下午做作业。

2)They aren’t going to have any lessons next week. 他们下星期不上课。

3)Is Jim going to play football after school? 吉姆放学后去踢足球吗?

4)Where are you going to meet? 你们在哪碰头?

- At the school gate. 在学校门口。

“will/ shall+动词原形”这一结构也表将来,一般情况下与be going to+动词原形意思一致。不是打算做的事,而是表示将要发生的事,则只用“will/ shall+动词原形”这一结构(1)I will be fourteen years old next year. 明年我就要十四岁。

(2)It will be sunny tomorrow. 明天将是晴天。

(3)They will / are going to fly to London. 他们将乘飞机去伦敦。

4. 一般现在时

一般现在时表示经常性的动作,或经常发生的事情。

常用频度副词或every + n. 等表示经常性的时间来表示。

分单三和非单三两种形式,所以动词要和主语保持一致。

即:主语为单三,肯定句用动词单三形式。否定句用助动词doesn’t+原形动词

一般疑问句用does来问答。如:

He often goes to school early. 他经常很早上学。

He doesn’t often go to school early. 他不常上学早。

Does he often go to school early? 他经常上学早吗?

Yes, he does. 是的No, he doesn’t. (否定回答)

如果主语为非单三, 肯定句中动词用原形

否定句动词为助动词don’t+原形动词

一般疑问句用do来问答。如:

They work hard at school. 他们在学校努力学习。

They don’t work hard at school. 他们在学校不努力学习。

Do they work hard at school. 他们在学校学习努力吗?

Yes, they do 是的。No, they don’t. (否定回答)

另外:一般现在时常来问职业

What do / does sb. do? 寻问职业

What do they do? 他们干什么的?

They are students. 他们是学生。

What does your mother do ? 你妈妈做什么?

She is a teacher. 她是老师。

能力目标:

1. 利用所学知识对上学,回家,用餐,天气等进行口头和书面表达。

2. 能对昨天,今天,明天的活动进行口头和书面表达。

3. 能对圣诞节的活动进行口头和书面表达,并了解有关圣诞节的知识。
