As we all know, over seventy percent of our planet are covered by sea, where is rich in salt as well as fish. What’s more, there is a great deal of oil or gas under the sea. In other words, the sea is the place with so many important things we live in. However, with the world population increased rapidly, overfishing has become a serious problem. Every day a lot of rubbishes and waste water are poured into the sea, so the sea is bad polluted. As a result, the number of fish has obviously decreased. Besides, some are dying out or have been died out. Therefore, it is time for everybody protect the sea.

Last month, I had a unpleasant holiday. Having visited the Australian mainland before, I planned to going to the Solomon Islands. With my disappointment, the guide cut my holiday shortly by 2 days. He also sent me to the same places I had visited them the year before. In addition, the holiday I go on included none of the activities mentioned in the travel plan. To make matters bad, I had to share a

double room with someone I did not know, despite the fact I had paid for a single room. Last but not least, my luggages arrived a week late because of the delay causes by the travel agency.

Have you ever been to Wuzhen? It is so beautiful a village that I had already visited it many times. Locating in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, it has a history of about 6,000 years. Like many small towns in the southern area, which has a lot of small bridges going through clean streams. Local people live in old houses, they are very friendly. During the day, you can walk or sit on a boat to enjoying the natural scenery along the stream. The scene at night is attractively as well. There are all kinds of round and square light. Every time I look at the pictures for which I took, I will remember the water, the bridges and the houses. I love an amazing water country!

When I was 12, I met Mary. She came to China with her parents, whom taught English in an university. We soon became good friends. She was fluently in Chinese while I had difficulty with my speaking English. In order to help me with my English, we spoke as much English as we can when we were together. Before long, I could speak English well but at the same time I also made progresses in

my written English. Luckily, a year later, she had to return back to her country with her parents. And we have out of touch with each other ever since. How I miss her!

I do well in school, so people think I am smart. And it’s not true. In fact, three year ago I struggled in Grade 9. Later, I decide to get serious about school, so I made a few changes. First, I decided I would become interesting in whatever was being taught, regardless of that what other people thought. I also made up my mind to work hardly every day. After carry out these changes, I became active participant in classroom discussions. Then my test scores began to rise. How exciting! It seems to myself that being smart is simply a matter for making efforts and being interested.

I am very sorry to hear that you are bad ill and in hospital. Are you getting better now?

Please don’t worry about my illness. All you need to do now is to have good rest and follow the doctor’s advices. At present, we are learning some new lessons. They aren’t very difficult, but you don’t need to worry about your study. When

I was walking my dog around my local streets last Sunday when I meet a new couple. They liked my dog but gave it a sandwich. I thanked them and had a happily chat with them. They said they had just been moved into this community. Unfortunate，they had a troublesome neighbour, that was rather noisy at night, making it hard for them to fall asleep. “Oh，it's great pity. I think I'm quite lucky to have kind neighbours,” I said.

Say our goodbyes, we separated. As my dog and I was near my home, I was embarrassed to see that my new friends were walking towards the house next to me. I was the noisy neighbour!

When he got to the company, he found there were many people waiting there and he had no ideas whether he could get the job. While waiting, he helps the workers there to remove the fallen trees and clear the road. Unluckily, he was the only one who finally got the job, so the manager decided to give the job to whoever he believed was helpful.
