第二讲名词量表达法、名词的修饰语的顺序、冠词

一、名词量的表达方法

（一）可数名词量的表达

◆表示不确定数量：可数名词前用many, few, a few, several, several

million, a lot of, lots of, some, a great number of, quite a few, hundreds

of, thousands of, dozens of 等词修饰。

◆表示确定数量：数词( three hundred, two dozen, one and a half ) +可数

名词。

There are 588 students in this college.

（二）不可数名词量的表达

◆表示不确定数量：不可数名词前用much, little, a little, a lot of, lots of,

some, any, a large amount of 等词修饰。

Let me give you some advice.

◆表示确定数量：数词+ 量词+ of + 不可数名词。

二、名词的修饰语的顺序

（一）用名词修饰名词，修饰词有时只用名词单数。

kitchen counter room number

（二）含有连字符的复合名词作定语，只能用单数形式。

◆基数词＋名词（单数） A four-week course

◆基数词＋名词（单数）＋形容词 A five-year-old boy

（三）当两个或多个同一类别形容词同时用作前置定语时，它们之间需用and或but连接，或者用逗号格开。Many happy and healthy children （四）当两个或多个不同类的形容词修饰一个名词作前置定语时，通常按照如下顺序排列：限定词（包括冠词和代词）－数词－描绘性形容词（评述性形容词）－表示大小的形容词－表示形状的形容词－表示年龄、新旧的形容词－表示颜色的形容词－表示国籍的形容词－表示材料的形容词－表示类别或用途的形容词

two - numerals 表示数词

other - determiner 表示限定词

op - opinion 表示描述的形容词

s - small 表示大小的形容词

sh - shape 表示形状的形容词

a - age 表示年龄新旧的形容词

c - color 表示颜色的形容词

o - origin 表示国籍、出处

m - material 表示材料

i - using 表示用途

●含有连字符的复合名词作定语，只能用单数形式。
