一．考情分析

“强调”就是使句子的某一部分比一般情况下显得更加重要。英语表要强调句子的某一成分，一般可用强调句型“It is (was) +that (who/whom) +句子的其余部分”。去掉it, be ,that (who / whom)句子仍然成立。被强调的部分指人时，除可用that外，还可换用who（强调宾语指人时也可用whom）。命题者加大了对句子结构复杂程度和知识面的考查，同时注重考查知识之间的交叉和语法知识的力度,也会考查了定语从句、时间状语从句、地点状语从句，强调了学生综合把握语法知识的能力。

二．真题剖析

1.考查强调句型的基本结构

（1）It is what you do rather than what you say ____matters. 【2005天津】 A. that B. what C. which D. this

【答案】A。

【解析】这是一个强调主语的强调句型，去掉强调结构，剩下的是What you do rather than what you say matters. 表意完整。从中可以看出上句是对主语部分的强调。

2.考查含有“not?until?”句型的强调句式

（1）It we had stayed together for a couple of weeds I found we had a

【解析】识别强调句型不难，但极有可能在第一个空填that, 而误选D。其实被强调的部分还含有一个where引导

注意：1. It is +时间段+since+sb+did…（从过去某动作开始到现在有多长时间） It is /was/will be +时间段+before sb. did/do /does（过了多久才…）

It be+时间+when 等句型与强调句型区别。(当某动作发生时…正是某时)

例：1t was about noon_______ we arrived at the foot of the mountain. A since B when C that D in which 【答案】B 【解析】如果看作是强调句型，本题去掉it was …that 后显然不成立，如果是at noon 则成立为强调句型。本题意思是：“是在正午的时候我们到的山脚下”。 2.谓语动词人称和数的一致性。

强调句型中，如果强调主语，其后谓语动词应和被强调部分的人称和数保持一致。例：It is Mary and Tom who often do good deeds. 2. 谓语动词的强调 1、It is/ was … that … 结构不能强调谓语，如果需要强调谓语时，用助动词do/ does或did。此种强调只用do/ does和did ，没有别的形式；
