Unit3 第3课时教学设计

一、教学目标

(一)语言目标

1. 词汇:能听懂、会说、会写、基本运用新单词:breakfast, lunch, dinner, water, soup, vegetables, tomato, potato。

2. 句型:能询问他人“Do you want some rice?”并能用“Yes. please.”“No, thank you.”礼貌地回答。能用礼貌用语完成对话。

(二)应用目标

1. 能有礼貌地提出请求,能对别人的询问恰当地表达感谢或拒绝。

2. 能补充对话。

3. 能运用所学的句子进行连锁问答游戏。

二、教学重、难点

1. 重点

(1)能用礼貌用语完成对话。

(2)能运用所学的句子进行连锁问答游戏。

2. 难点:能运用所学的句子进行连锁问答游戏。在游戏中,学生要提问:“What would you like?” 要回答:“I’d like rice with chicken and vegetables.” 问句中“would you”要连读,是一个难点。答句中要回答出自己想要吃的食物,必须先想好,有创造性地发挥,而不能照搬书本或同学的。教师应该有铺垫,提供句型范例和参考,这样才能顺利开展游戏,以巩固、运用所学知识。

三、教学准备

单词卡片、课文录音、课本图片等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)。

四、教学过程

Step 1 热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)

Game: “攀登高峰”

以小组为单位,看哪组说的与食物有关的词最多、最准确,不能重复別人说过的词,基础好的班级可以加大难度,让学生拼读出来。教师将学生所说的词全部板书或即时输入电脑,让学生看到,以免重复,并且加深学生的印象。竞赛形式可

以是“攀登高峰”。每答对一个词,就向上攀爬一格,直至顶峰。

Step 2 新课呈现(Presentation)

1. Role-play

学生事先排练好E部分的节目,请部分学生在课堂上表演。2. 学生观看后,和教师一起分角色表演。

T: Now, you are Dino. What do you want?

Ss: I want some soup.

T: Do you want some more, please?

Ss: Yes, I want some more, please.

T: Do you want some soup, please?

Ss: Yes, please.

3.Let’s write.补全对话。

学生独立完成书写部分。

4. 核对答案:

soup, I want, want some soup

5. F部分

Game:连锁问答

A: What would you like?

B: I like rice with chicken and vegetables. What would you like? C: I like some buns and soup. What would you like?

D: I like some rice and fish. What would you like?

Step 3 巩固操练(Consolidation)

1. Let’s know more

巩固breakfast:出示句子:Breakfast is the morning meal.

T: What do you want for breakfast?

S1: I want some bread and milk for breakfast.

S2: I want some noodles for breakfast.

This is a Chinese breakfast.

Do you know the Western breakfast?

总结: Breakfast is very important for us.

巩固lunch:

出示句子:Lunch is the midday meal.

T: What do you want for lunch?

S1: I want some chicken and vegetables for lunch.

S2: I want some beef for lunch.

This is a Chinese lunch.

Do you know the Western lunch?

总结: People often have lunch at school or at work.

以同样方式巩固dinner。

2. 将一些对话卡片分发给四个小组,让他们表演出来。四个小组根据表演思考:他们是怎样向别人请求帮助的,得到帮助后应该说些什么。

Dialogue 1:

—I am thirsty. Can I have a Coke, please?

—Yes, please.

—Thank you.

Dialogue 2:

—I am cold. Can I have a coat, please?

—Yes, please.

—Thank you.

Dialogue 3:

—I have no pencils. Can I have your pencil, please?

—Yes, please.

—Thank you.

Dialogue 4:

—I am hot.

—What would you like?

—I’d like a Coke, please.

—Thank you. Hmm... it’s nice.

Step 4作业布置(Homework)

以小组为单位,分工收集中西方就餐礼仪相关资料。小组内合作交流讨论,共同学习餐饮礼仪。
