【学习目标】

1、(知识与技能)

词汇:list, crazy, shorts, trousers, sunglasses, weigh, total, weight, passport

2、(过程与方法)通过任务教学,培养学生的自主学习能力和合作探究能力

3、(情感、态度与价值观)能听懂和阅读关于介绍洛杉矶之行的语言材料,能通过相关词汇和图片描述自己和他人的旅行经历;能编写关于旅行的对话。

【重点难点】教学重点:用and, but, or连接的并列复合句。

教学难点:1. and, but和or的区别。2. 日常英语的使用。

【教学过程】第一课时:step1 warm-up,引出课题 step2完成导学案的自主学习,词汇达标,基础过关,小组竞赛 step3 课后小组合作,完成合作探究第二课时;step1 听力训练,完成activity1 step 2 听和熟读对话,完成activity2,3,4 step4 生展示学习成果,师进一步解疑step4师讲解语法知识总结提升

1.I’m leaving at the end of July and I’m going to stay there for four weeks.

at the end of...意为“ ”,其后接名词或名词性的短语,既可以指在时间的末尾,也可以指在某个地点的尽头。There is a clothes shop at the end of the street.在这条街的尽头有一家服装店。

与end有关的短语: by the end of...意为“”,常与完成时连用。

We had learned two thousand English words by the end of last term. 到上个学期为止我们已经学了 2000个英语单词。

in the end意为“”。 I have done my homework for two hours. Now I finish it in the end. 我已经写了两小时的作业了。现在我终于完成了。

2.Is 200 dollars enough? 200美元够吗?

enough足够的;充足的 (1) enough在本句中是形容词作表语,意为“足够的;充足的”;enough也可作定语修饰名词,此时,enough 可放在名词之后,也可放在名词之前。 (2) enough也可作副词,用来修饰形容词或副词,但此时,enough必须放在形容词或副词之后。enough常在结构“形容词或副词+eno ugh to do sth.”中,意为“足够……可以做某事”。 His brother is old enough to go to

school. 他的弟弟足够大了可以去上学了。

homestay 指吃住在当地人家里,实际体验当地人的生活。

By the way “顺便说一下”,用于转入与刚才说的主题无关的事。

e.g. By the way, why not drop in for a drink?

don’t forget to do sth. “不要忘记做某事”。等于remember to do sth.

e.g. Don’t forget to take your homework when you go to school tomorrow.

【合作探究,释疑解惑】

1.Our teachers are well trained and have a lot of experience. 我们的老师受过很好的训练,有丰富的经验。 (1) experience意为“”时,是不可数名词,后不能加-s。 He has lots of experience in dealing with teenagers. 他在处理青少年的问题上有丰富的经验。当experience作“”讲时,是可数名词,其复数形式是 experiences。 I had a very unusual experience last month. 我上个月有一次不同寻常的经历。 (2) experience也可作动词,意为“经历;体验”。 Everyone experiences these problems at some time in their lives. 每个人在人生的某个阶段都会经历这些问题。

2.It depends on your personal choice. 那要视你个人的选择而定。 depend on意为“”,其后可接名词、代词、动名词或从句作宾语。It depends on the weather. 那要视天气而定。

Depend on me. 相信我。

3.We provide books, and we set tests every week to check your progress. 我们提供书籍,并且我们每周都会安排考试来检查你的进步。

provide是动词,意为“提供;供应”,是及物动词,后可以跟名词作宾语。provide 的常用结构:provide sth. for sb.“向某人提供某物”,也可用于provide sb. with sth.结构中。与offer的区别 offer 通常指“主动提供”,常用于 offer sb. sth. /offer sth. to sb.结构中,后不能接宾语从句。

He offered me a cup of tea. =He offered a cup of tea to me. 他给我端了杯茶。

4.Many families form close friendships with the students and stay in touch with them. 其中form a friendship with sb.意为

“”,其中form是动词,意为“形成;建立”; (1) friendship是可数名词,其复数形式是friendships。 break off a friendship 意为“中断一段友谊”。 (2) form也可作名词,意为“表格;种类”。 Please fill in the form now. 请现在填一下这个表格。stay in touch意为

“”,相当于keep in touch,其后若跟宾语,要用介词with构成stay in touch with sb.(与某人)保持联系。 They embraced and promised to keep in touch. 他们互相拥抱,许诺保持联系。

5.But if you prefer, of course, you can stay in a hotel. 但是如果你喜欢的话,当然你也可以住宾馆。 prefer意为“更喜爱;钟爱”,是及物动词,可以跟名词作宾语。prefer的其他用法:(1) “prefer+动名词”“更喜欢……”。 Do you prefer cooking for yourself or eating in a restaurant? 你更喜欢自己做饭还是喜欢去饭店吃?(2) “prefer+不定式” “更喜欢做某事”。 I prefer to spend the weekend at home.我喜欢在家里过周末。

(3) prefer sb. to do sth. “ 宁愿某人做某事”。 Their father prefers them to be home early. 他们的父亲宁愿他们早点回家。 (4) prefer A to B (相对B而言更喜欢A),在本句型中,A与B 是平行结构,可以都是名词,也可以都是动名词。 I prefer dogs to cats. 在狗与猫之间我更喜欢狗。 (5) prefer to do rather than do“宁愿做,而不愿做”,本句型中,第一个不定式前面要加to,第二个不定式前面以不加to 居多。 He prefers to die rather than become traitor. 他宁死也不做叛徒。
