新目标英语Unit 11说课材料

《新目标英语》是以任务型语言教学为基础的英语教材,它体现―以学生为中心‖和―以人为本‖的教学思想。在教学实践中,我们应坚持―以学生为主体、以任务为主线,以教师为主导、以能力培养为重点‖的教学策略。本单元教学设计,体现以下四条原则:
1、关注学生参与课堂教学的六种状态,即情绪状态、注意状态、参与状态、交往状态、思维状态和生成状态,让学生以饱满的精神状态进入课堂,在自主、合作、探究等学习过程 中,建构知识、习得方法、体验过程、培养能力。
2、关注学生的问题意识,从学生的生活经验出发,创设一定的问题情境,引导学生发现问题、分析和解决问题;给学生创设思维的空间,关注学生思维的深度和广度,培养学生良好的思维品质;在知识的形成过程中,我们要重视知识发生、发展过程的再现,让学生通过积极的科学探究,习得知识、培养能力、获得积极的情感体验,学会学习。 3、给学生的自主学习提供机会,为学生自主发展提供时间和空间的保证: [1].时间保证:课堂上教师要有充分的时间让学生自主学习。
[2].机会保证:课堂上教师要确保每一位学生都能参与自主学习活动。
[3].空间保证:课堂上教师安排学生自主学习活动的内容要有开放性,要留给学生足够的思维和实践的空间,有利于学生创新精神的培养。
4、给学生的合作学习提供机会,初步养成与人交流、分享与协作的习惯,形成尊重别人劳动成果的意识。 二、 教材分析 1.教学内容分析
本单元是《新目标英语》的第十一单元,它以What time do you go to school?为单元话 题,主要语言结构为:What time do you usually get up?I get up at six o’clock..When does Alicia take a shower? She takes a shower at five o’clock. What time is it? It’s eleven o’clock..整个单元 以谈论日常生活及时间安排为主线,将日常生活中所涉及的语言、词汇和时间的表达法融入 一系列的小任务中,学生通过谈论日常生活时间的安排,讨论合理安排作息时间,完成一个 个任务最终达到交际目的。教学内容丰富多彩,话题生活性强,充分体现了《新目标英语》 语言生活性、情境性、语言形式为语言功能服务、层层深入,阶梯性的任务型语言教学和在 做中学的原则。同时更加注重学生小组合作学习能力的培养,从而使学生逐渐形成一定的自 主学习的能力。 2.教学对象分析
学生已初步接触了一些与日常生活相关的词汇并基本掌握一般现在时态的用法,能用简单英语表达个人意见。通过本单元学习能基本掌握时间表达法并能用英语谈论作息时间安排。 3.教学难点
第三人称单数谓语动词的运用是本单元的教学难点,需各课时共同分担。同时本单元内容虽 紧密联系生活际,但语言涉及面广,形式多样,跨度较大,给学生的理解和掌握造成一定的难度。
4.教学目标
通过本单元的教学,使学生掌握时间表达法以及相关的词汇,能用英语谈论生活中的时间安排;通过情境的设计,激发学生的学习兴趣;通过完成一个又一个的小任务,培养学生的自主学习和与他人合作的精神,通过谈论日常生活时间安排,培养学生合理安排作息时间的意识。
5.教学策略
(1)发散性思维训练策略,启发式教学法和讨论法;(2)任务型活动设计教学策略;(3)兴趣教学策略,其中包括游戏、表演、对话和歌曲;(4)通过组织活动进行教学,体现Learning by doing,doing is learning;(5)交际教学法;(6)合作学习策略。 6.课时安排 本单元我将分4课时进行教学。
The First Period
Teaching material: Section A 1a to 2c Teaching procedure: Step 1 Warming-up
1. 欣赏世界名曲《钟表店》,学生交流收集到的时间谚语; 2. 教师出示闹钟,学生数1—12;
3. 学生用手作为时针边数边转动手臂; 4. 教师报钟点,学生转动手臂,演示时间。 Step 2 Presentation
1.T:I have many clocks. Do you want to have a look? You may ask: What time is it?
2.教师出示闹钟,学生一问一答:A: What time is it? B: It’s…
3.小组竞赛T:Now it’s 7:00. But my watch is broken. It’s not 7:00. Can you guess: What time is it on my watch? 学生猜时间:What time is it? Is it …? 4.Play the game: Who has the best memory?
(1)Show the Ss a lot of different pictures about ―go to school get up run eat breakfast take a shower…‖on the computer screen and let them try to remember as many as possible;
(2)Get them to say the verb phrases from the memory, have a competition to see which group is the best.
(3)Teach the new phrases by using the pictures. Step 3 Consolidation and extension
1.利用幻灯片上的图片, 学生问答: What time do you usually get up? I usually get up at… 2.Let Ss finish 1a.
3.Ss listen and finish 1b.
4.课件展示:Tom采访Black;
5.Pair或Interview, 学生采访自己喜欢的人, 完成1c采访的任务。 Step 4 Meet Rick’s family
1.学生看书上2a的图并讨论: Who are they? 2.学生听录音, 完成2a;
3.Students read the note in 2b and guess: Who do you think wrote the note? 4.学生听录音,记录shower schedule for Rick’s family.

Step 6 课后任务:调查朋友的作息时间 操作过程如下:(1)教师设计如下表格,分发给各小组; Name Get up

(2)学生自由组合成3—5人小组,围坐一起,相互提问,并把答案记录在表格中;
(3)各小组成员根据表格内容,以―…的一天‖为题,依次叙述作息时间,并写成一篇短文,老师批阅;
(4)老师将文章装订,作为班级纪念册。
The Second Period
Teaching material:3a.3b.Part4. Teaching procedure: Step 1 Warming-up
1.Student chant: What time do you usually get up? I usually get up at 6:30.
What time do you usually go to school? I usually go to school at 7:10.
What time do you usually go home? I usually go home at 5:00.
What time do you usually go to bed? I usually go to bed at 9:00.
2. Play a game: 1、老师为学生提供分别装有动词、时间和地点短语小纸条的盒子
2、学生上台任意抽取纸条,要求用―I‖开头组成句子,并大声地在全班同学面前讲出来; 3、抽学生以第三人称单数的形式进行复述。 Step 2 Revision and presentation
1.教师拿一活动闹钟与学生对话:What time is it? It’s… 教师解释am, pm的用法; 2.教学半小时和一刻钟的表达,教师手拿闹钟边问边帮助学生回答: T: What time is it? Ss: It’s eight thirty / six-fifteen. 3.学生观看CD片:Wai Hai一天的生活安排。

5.Groupwork:学生讨论并报告:what do you think of Scott’s day? Step 4 Task:最佳搭档
目的:围绕话题―日常生活中的一天‖开展活动,复习和巩固表达―习惯行为‖的句型和词汇,并复习时间的表示法。 提示语和句型:(1)When do you usually get up / have breakfast? (2) I usually get up at 7:00… 活动形式:全班 操作过程:(1)教师随机选择10位学生,组成5对―搭档‖,相互交流日常生活习惯; (2)请―搭档‖中的A回避,B回答全班同学提出的关于日常生活习惯的问题; (3)请B回避,由A回答同样的问题;
(4)授予答案最一致的一组―最佳搭档‖称号。 Step 5 Game: The Bedtime Game
1.学生自由活动,采访: When do you usually go to bed? 以表格形式登记下来; name Jim Kate Li Lei Mike Wei Hua …… Time
2.Each group reports from the earliest to the latest bedtime. Step 6 Homework: 根据游戏―最佳搭档‖写一篇短文。
The Third Period
Teaching material: Section B Teaching procedure: Step 1 Warming –up:
1.时间游戏:利用多媒体课件,学生设置正确的时间。 2.游戏―我做你猜‖
目的:让学生在轻松愉快的环境中复习和巩固动词短语 活动形式:两人小组,全班 操作过程:(1)教师布置任务:学生每人写两张卡片,内容为表示某个动作的词组; (2)教师收集所有卡片;
(3)学生同桌协作,一人上讲台,随机抽一张卡片,并按卡片上的词组内容做相应的动作,另一人猜动词短语;
(4)一分钟内猜的准确率最高的小组获胜。 Step 2 Presentation and practice
1.联系生活实际,进一步巩固操练时间的表达方法,要求学生两人一组,学生A扮演智能闹钟,学生B扮演小主人。学生A根据学生B的动作进行报时并给予语言提醒。比如,学生B在睡觉,学生A说:Ring!Ring!Get up!It’s time to get up! 教师根据学生的表演,所报的时间和提示的动作,在黑板上写下:7:00,get up!两人小组合作表演完毕后,全班评出最佳表演小组。
2.课件展示in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening. 老师给出动词短语,学生快速讲出in the morning 或 in the afternoon 或 in the evening. 3. Pairwork: When do people usually get up? People usually get up in the morning . 4.学生听录音,完成2a.
