neither……nor与either……or的用法

neither……nor与either……or起连词作用，连接并列的两个成分。但两者意义相反。 “neither……nor”表示“既不……也不”即否定两部分， 例如：

1．The ground must be just right neither too wet nor too dry. 土壤要正合适：既不太湿也不太干。

2．I have neither brothers nor sisters. 我既无兄弟又无姐妹。

3．Neither John nor Tom krows how to spell the word. 约翰和汤姆都不知道怎样拼写这个单词。

either……or表示“或者……或者” 如：

1．She was coming back either today or tomorrow. 她不是今天来就是明天来。 注意：如果连接两个主语，谓语应随共邻近的词， 如：

1．Either you or he is right. 不是你就是他对。

2．Neither you nor I am right. 你和我都不对。
